    Kontrol Freek

Sorry if this doesn't belong here, but I was wondering if anybody can give me a heads-up about the Kontrol Freek stick extender. Are they any good/worth the money? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

    Re: Kontrol Freel

Are those the things that stick onto the analog sticks to extend them out for better response in shooters?

I thought about these, but just couldn't justify paying $10-20 bucks for them.. :o

The only thing that I modified my controller with are the PS3 controller trigger extensions. Just a black piece of plastic so your fingers don't slip off L2 or R2 as much. I like them and think they were like 5-10 bucks.

I've had a set for awhile. I can promise you that your aim will improve, but it places your thumb pretty far away from the other buttons. I only have one on the right analog, because it was such a pain to sprint with the left one attached. At 6'2" I not a little guy, but the reach is an issue. It also might depend on your play style...if you're a "camper" I'd pick these up, but if you run and gun you might think that they are to uncomfortable to game with (I've learned to get used to them..I took them on and off for a couple of weeks before I was sold).

I have them too... however I as well only use it on the right analog stick to help me aim better. And it actually gives you a lot more aiming control so you can be a little more precise with your movement.

Yeah, same here. Right stick only, and it helps a lot after you get use to it!!

My hands were kinda tweeked afterwards for a couple days getting used to the distance and what not but I definitely recommend them.
