    Medal awarded 66 years late

This man didn't receive his medals for WWII until 66 years later. I am glad to see he finally got the recognition and awards he deserves, just sucks it took so many years.

Edit: Had the wrong video linked.

This is why i always feel like a pussy when i talk to WW2 vets. Talkin' about a rocket attack on my company patrol base does not compare to their stories of Bastogne. And they are always so modest and understated about it. Their stories never start with "no shit no lie there I was waist deep in hand grenade pins and Gerry blood."

That's why I love talking to my dad about his war stories. I could hear them a hundred times and they would still be great. I have read his book twice now.
