What's everyone's opinion on the CEO of Activision saying he wants COD to be a Pay for Play. Here's the link: http://www.examiner.com/x-39245-FPS-...y-Call-of-Duty

That's why I probably won't play the new one if it is pay to play. I think its bull to pay more when you're already paying to be online. That's just my .02
FREEDOM IS NOT FREE THANK A VET TODAY!
Part of me feels that way. One one hand, I think I pay enough(the game..the internet...and then my Xbox Live gold account). On the other hand, if Activision is getting 15 or 20 million a month in subscriber fees they may actually fixed shit in the game, because pissed off people will cancel. And they'll loose that monthly revenue. In addition, they might also offer extra stuff if you subscribe.Originally Posted by indyred99
Right now I feel Activision hasn't done much about patching the game and fixing some issue because there's no additional money in it for them. In fact it cost them money. Depending on the monthly subscription rate I might pay it. And who knows. This might not apply to just the new games. They could decide to start charging for MW2
Maybe if XBL didn't cost money on top of your internet. Makes no sense to pay M$ a subscription fee and then pay another subscription fee just to be able to play a game over XBL on top of you ISP subscription fee. Publishers are just getting WAY too greedy. Gotta say I saw it coming with all the $4 avatar items.
