    PSN:

    Battlefield 1943

    PC:

    Combat Arms
    Last Chaos

Both are free downloads so that makes them even better.

    Re: Favorite Downloaded Games?

battlefield 1943 seems to be a popular one. I never went for it because i am so burnt out on historic shooters, atleast WWI/II era ones, haven't seen much else out there. Is it really worth the dive back into the old technologies of the 40's?

I really like it, the only reason I don't play that much is MAG. It took a lot away from BF:BC and made it work well. It is a short lived game with only three maps but it is fun for a couple of quick games here and there.

Timmy's right. It's the FPS equivalent of a "pick-up game". Not clan support, and the in game chat is hit or miss at best. Still, it's fun to scratch the itch when you want a quick game.

Indecision may or may not be my problem.

Battlefield 1943 was my only FPS experience, about a month's worth, before playing MAG. It was a nice training mode for FPS, and no one will ever TK you there for not playing the way they like.

Of course, they couldn't TK you if they wanted to. You can't shoot or knife your own side in that game, though you can blow yourself up with explosives if you screw up.

That mini golf game is pretty good too. I just haven't played it in a while, been to busy with playing the shooters .

Top 5 for me --- 1. Pixil Junk Monsters (Tower D) ---2. Trine (Side scrolling action game) --- 3. TV Game Show ( fun when you got guests) --- 4. Hasbro Family Night ( Now I'll never have to buy another board game) --- 5. Zombie Apocalypse (if you love killing zombies it's a must have and it's 4 players).
