I really really really hope this game "brings back" MK... the last couple of titles have been a huge disappointment.

I wasn't upset with Armageddon, except for the part where Raiden turned evil

eh, Armageddon wasn't too bad... just wasn't a huge fan of it! But the only fighter I have liked at all lately was Super Street Fighter IV, just love the side scroll/3D effects.... genius!

Whoops! It seems that the iPhone version of the Mortal Kombat website spilled a few beans earlier, listing assets for the following characters that have yet to be confirmed:

Ermac
Goro
Human Sektor
Kabal
Noob Saibot
Quan Chi
Shang Tsung
Sindel
Smoke
Stryker

The website has since been taken offline, and of course these characters may be cut for the final version.
There is also news floating about that the latest issue of the US Official PlayStation Magazine has confirmed Kratos will be appearing in the PS3 version of the game.
If that’s true I do feel sorry for the other characters… “GET OVER HERE! no wait, where are you sticking that sword…noooo!”

MUST GET THIS GAME. I'm glad that they are goin back to the blood, gore, and true violence that made this series soo awesome. The last few were let downs becuz of concerened parents believeing the game is too violent for minors. Thank goodness the MK violence has returned.

First they added Kratos (WIN) to Mortal Kombat. Come Tuesday, you can also download the one and only Freddy Krueger (DOUBLE WIN).

Looks like the Jackie Earle Haley version instead of the classic Robert Englund.
