I saw these made on one of Bobby Flay's TV shows today and thought they looked awesome. Just finished making a couple batches of each...and all I can say is WOW!! These are perfect on a hot day (it's going to be about 96 degrees here today, so I'll sit in the A/C and enjoy 'em).
Arnold Palmer Sangria
Summer SangriaIngredients
* 2 cups fresh brewed tea, chilled
* 2 cups chilled lemonade (recommended: Simply Lemonade)
* 1 quart Sauvignon Blanc, chilled
* Simple syrup, (equal parts water and sugar heated until sugar dissolves and cooled)
* 1 orange, thinly sliced
* 1 lime, thinly sliced
* 1 lemon, thinly sliced
* 1 pint strawberries, quartered
* 1 pint blackberries, sliced in 1/2
Directions
Combine the tea, lemonade and wine in a large pitcher. Taste for sweetness and add simple syrup, if needed. Add the orange, lime slices, lemon slices and strawberry and blackberries. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours and up to 24 hours. Serve chilled over ice.

* 1 bunch fresh mint or spearmint
* 1 cup Simple Syrup, recipe follows
* 1 apple, cored and diced
* 1 orange, peeled and diced
* Crushed ice, as needed
* 1 bottle Spanish rose wine
* 2 cups club soda
* 1 cup grapefruit soda (recommended: Hansens)
* 3 shots white rum
Directions
In a large pitcher, take half of the bunch of fresh mint leaves along with the simple syrup and muddle them together until the oil from mint is released. Add the diced apple and orange, and muddle again. Fill the pitcher with crushed ice. Pour the bottle of wine over the smashed ingredients. Add the club soda and grapefruit soda. Finish the drink with 3 shots of white rum and stir gently. Pour into glasses and garnish with some of the remaining mint leaves. Cheers!
