    J8ded Productions..!!

    Hello Chad,
First, I would like to take the time to thank you for your interest in the possibility
of participating with our project "J8DED".
To give you a little background to the series that you might not have perused
through while investigating the website (http://www.j8ded.com), The basic
storyline of the series is a famous music duo from England ends up being
thrown out of the UK and lands in the states. Unknown in the US, the duo
(called 'J8DED') have to start their careers over which is a far cry from their
previous lap of luxury. Accustomed to all of the trappings of success have the
two individuals (David Salem and Lola Sanchez) confused and bewildered with
the thought of playing in dive bars and having to 'rough it' all over again to make
    a comeback.
The secondary story (this series is a dual storyline), is based on the events
leading up to and the subsequent MIA status and search for CSM Clarke Salem.
CSM Salem is the twin brother to David Salem and was part of an elite multinational
unit that served the NATO forces, accepting all missions that were
deemed too dangerous or 'one-ways'. This storyline is the underlying them of
the entire series as it is portrays the sacrifices made by not just the persons who
decide to dedicate themselves to this path, but the family and friends who
ultimately help support these individuals throughout their illustrious, yet largely
    unacknowledged careers.
Extreme care and thought was given to the storyline before J8DED Pictures
embarked on this project as it is of utmost importance to ACCURATELY portray
all of the men and women in all branches of the Armed Forces from All
countries. Extensive research, direct experience, and actual military personnel
are exclusively utilized in all military flashback sequences. The DoD has given us
clearance to use declassified ACTUAL footage to intersperse into our filmed
sequences to allow for a broad view of the military. We can't thank enough, The
DoD and all branches of the military for their ongoing support of this project.
In taking on this challenge, Proper military supervisors have been utilized from
many Spec Op branches of both the United States Military and The Royal
Military as this story takes place between the UK and the US. These advisors
have participated in the capacity of keeping true to realism, strategy and tactics,
and other aspects of specific branches, be it the SEAL's, Regiment 22 (SAS),
Rangers, SBS, Air Force Spec Ops, etc. Our goal is to entertain the viewers, but
to keep true to form for action sequences (no 90 rounds out of a 30 round clip or
a shotgun that can kill at 100 yards).

As we are aware that all of you are either active or formerly active military
personnel who participate in gaming on the latest platforms (PS3, XBox 360), we
are interested in possibly utilizing your experience in this gaming world and your
real life experiences in the military.
As the Producer/Director of this series, I would like to add some of your voices
into scenes as military chatter, and also use some individuals for some specific
lines that would become transmissions to military squads. This can be done
over the phone as any person interested would merely have to talk and we will
record directly off of speakerphone and then manipulate with the proper
heterodyning to recreate proper squawk freq. response. Any person interested in
doing this will receive end credits and your ENTIRE list of military personnel that
is part of your USMilitarygamers.com will consistently receive NAMED credit in end
credits as thanks for all of your service to this country and all coalition countries
associated with the United States. With the success of the show, and your
availabilities due to active status, we would like to bring you in to participate in
some second season military sequences when production begins again on
season 2. This will be entirely predicated on the popularity and success of the
series. You would be paid for appearances under ICI (Independent Contractors
    Invoice).
Scheduled release of episode 1 of "J8DED" is slated for Sept. 19th, with the
series running 13 full one hour Episodes becoming a new Fall Series. Network
    details will be announced.
We are hopeful that many of you will be interested in this opportunity as the
series will be very exciting for any who have played the MW2/Killzone/COD.etc.,
    games.
Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing from you
    Cheers,
    Michael Daemon

IF they really did get permission, then it's a matter of public record and they should be able to provide proof of such. I'd ask for a copy of that, just to ensure they're on the up and up. That's just my $.02 opinion.

Indecision may or may not be my problem.

Yup, I think it's just me and silent doing this... I also got the same E-mail, but I had to open it with acrobat reader. I replied with letting them know I'm down for it... but have yet to get a reply back. I also sent them my "War is Real" story, cause Michael Daemon (The producer) wanted to check it out. I look forward to seeing you on set in season 2 Silent.

Wait...Am I missing something?? My Rem 1100 can kill just fine at 100 yards. :?

With or without a slug? I think the point is they are looking for realism.

I didn't want to say anything but Michael Daemon, is an alias that damon lindelof uses every now and again. not sure but there could be something to this.
