what is the cash on hand and cash in the bank for?

just like the subject says, what can you do with cash on hand and what does putting cash in the bank do?? I imagine if you have cash in the bank, it can't get ganked or something like that. But what can you buy with cash on hand?

We have been using them for bets on tournaments. Coming up here soon they are going to use them on fantasy football. TLOG is offering a prize to the first person to hit 100,000 USMG points. If you don't bank your points you stand the chance of getting robbed.

I've been meaning to write a tutorial on this, but with the new site design, i've been a little busy. If one of the other guys isn't busy, and would like to document how the points work, I'd reward you..

Please do not contact me for recruiting issues or to add or create you a signature. I will ignore you.

Re: what is the cash on hand and cash in the bank for?

    In short:

You get points for each post you make. The amount you receive depends on how many characters (letters, numbers, etc.) has in it. This includes new posts and replies, with exceptions of some sections like announcements. You can spend those points in the lottery (click on your points to see this feature). Your lottery ticket purchase adds to the pot of points. If you win, the money is credited to your account.

You can (and should) bank your points to avoid having them robbed. Likewise, you can rob another player of his/her points, but you will likely fail and have a point deduction (again, click on your points for details).

The new inter-clan competitions also have ways to earn points. You have to spend points to enter, but if you are part of the winning team you will win part of the pot. Check the "Fort Bragg" section, or contact Timmy_2_Tones or Saviger for more info.

The fantasy football is another new feature that is coming soon. It also requires points to enter, and points will be part of the rewards.

Finally, you can donate points to other players if you wish.

That's it in a nutshell. I didn't nail the fine details, but hopefully this will answer most of your questions.

Indecision may or may not be my problem.
