I wish I had some good news for you but I can speak from experience that the amount of grocery intake increases exponentially as they age. My fiance and I both have a 12 year old and when they're both in the house then I wonder if I'll ever be able to retire. At least they're easy to find. If it's ever too quiet in the house for too long then just head to the kitchen and you'll find them rifling through whatever happens to still be in the cabinets.

Yep, I have a 12 year old daughter who is really active and plays a lot of sports. I swear she is eating every 20 min it seems. Hell pretty soon all I am going to be able to feed myself is ramen noodles.

When I was a teenager, I used to eat a large pizza hut pizza by myself. I was really upset when they stopped the bigfoot pizza promotion! Of course that is when I would go non stop from sun up until past sun down. Damn I miss being a kid!

Re: Where does my kid put it???

I have a 5 and a 3 year old. There is always some sort of food being consumed at all times. My son will eat two bowls of cereal, then about an hour later he is eating toast. Then it is lunch, then a snack, then another and dinner. Yet he stays skinny as a rail. I spend so much on groceries. Oh well, now I know how my parents felt.

You know I do now know that the reason my parents were in the poor house was because of me.
