USMG PS3 theme (Corrected)

Hey guys and gals i made a USMG based PS3 Theme you may like. to download it click on the link below and follow the directions to install it.

It has several backgrounds that represent all branches of the armed services the naval one is just a screeenie i took.



Installation

Installing a new theme on your PlayStation 3 is quite simple. You can download the theme using your PC and transfer it to the PS3 with your USB thumb-drive or external HD. Or you can download it on the PlayStation using the internet browser. [/big]

1. Download the .P3T file for the theme you want to install.

2. When the theme has fully downloaded to your PC, plug in your USB thumb-drive or your Memory Stick, etc.

3. Make a folder in the root of the removable disk called PS3.

4. Inside the PS3 folder, make a folder called THEME (in capitals).

5. Copy across the theme (.P3T file) from wherever you saved it into the THEME folder on the removable disk.

6. Put the removable disk into your PS3 and on the XMB go to: Settings > Theme Settings > Themes

7. Select the install button, and then click on the removable disk.

8. Select which theme you want to install and click ‘Apply’ for the theme to display.

It's now my new PS3 theme. REALLY good graphics man. REALLY GOOD. it's Blingin with HD. It took a while to cycle through all of them, but I got it set to the Apache one. Again, Great job. Someone get this guy a USMG medal.

Is there any easier way to scroll through the different backgrounds? I currently have to turn that theme off then reselect it to see the next image. Just wondering if not no biggie.

I really wish you could do this with the avatars!! I am getting sick of the preset ones that come with the PS3. I don't want to pay for one either. I just want to upload my own custom one... :ugeek:

are the images on a cycle or do we have to manually switch them by switching back and forth on the wallpaper menu?

for xbox you can only change the tab colors. but i just made some HD wallpaper and put it out there for you to download.

First off, +1,000,000 for the work on the themes. Big time kudos. Anyway, pardon the ignorance but I'm a Mac owner and while not a complete technophobe, still not certain of all the nuances. Are the directions you posted going to work the same on a Mac? Just wondering before I start trying this. I'm planning it as a weekend project.
