most topics stay unread

I have noticed that if I look through the forums and come back later all the stuff that I have already looked at shows that it is unread. It doesn't seem to do this with all subjects just most. It's confussing me!!

yes, I tried removing the data base storage of cookies, to see if it cuts down on the db connections, to address the disconnects. :ugeek: :mrgreen:

I think you may have misread what smoke was saying.

By cutting back the cookie storage on the DB it frees up the number of connections available to users. So in essence he's increasing connections, not cutting back.

although i'm not up on the computer lingo, i did know that he wasn't actually cutting down DBG's connections. I forgot I have to put after any jokes i make or i get taken seriously, which is a mistake for anyone to do anyway
