Some of the most highly anticipated films that doing their presentations at the San Diego Comic-Con were temporarily brought to a halt after a stabbing occurred.
The incident took place in Hall H after a scuffle broke out between two men in their mid-20s over a seat near the center of the auditorium, which was setting up for "Cowboys and Aliens" and "Paul" panels. The fight ended after one of the men was stabbed in the eye with a pen.
Security personnel rushed to the auditorium as attendees stood on their seats to watch. Organizers pleaded with the capacity crowd to take their seats as guards and medics cleared the scene. The victim was taken to a local hospital and the suspect was taken away by police.
The incident almost delayed one of the biggest days for the convention, which was getting ready for "Thor," "Captain America" and "Green Lantern" presentations. However, everything got back on track almost immediately.
