    Gaming tips

I once had a discussion with Lady about her amazing gaming skills and what is the likely cause of them. It was decided that poor form may be the leading cause of poor technique and ultimately, poor gameplay.

To ensure that everyone is getting the most out of their skills I have created this diagram, taken courtesy my PSeye camera, and high speed markers constructed with high tech photo editing software. So without further ado, i give you:

proper gaming positioning for maximum efficiency
    by MaximusR3

    1. Stylish head band, cut and converted from a scarf. Not only makes you look cool and keeps the hair out of your eyes, it also adds +5 ninja skill points[/*:m:1mv1r53c]
    2. Comfortable, loose clothing is worn. Naturally plain black is chosen because it is superior to all other clothes color choices. +5 cool points[/*:m:1mv1r53c]
    3. Hands and controller rest comfortable in the lap, supported by thighs and knees. +5 comfy points[/*:m:1mv1r53c]
    4. legs crossed and on the chair because....because it just works that way. i play better that way. +5 because i said so points[/*:m:1mv1r53c]
    5. Guitar amp within arms reach in case you have to wait for a lengthy download or update so you have something to do and also helps warm up your fingers. +5 boredom and readiness points[/*:m:1mv1r53c]
    6. Bookcase filled to the brim with things that make no sense, do not belong on a bookshelf, or are otherwise useless. +5 Random crap points[/*:m:1mv1r53c]

as an added note, sitting in a computer chair adds mobility so you can adjust your angle and distance from the TV as necessary and also allows you to have your back straight and fully supported by the chair while maintaining maximum comfort. Also adds an additional +5 comfy points

Gaming is staying up 'til 3am to earn a trophy that isn't real.......BUT IS

    Re: Gaming tips

Ok apart from this being the funniest thing I have ever seen

This technique did not work for me Max...I even have book cases filled with random nonsense... and I have a guitar and amp too.

Do you think if I actually learn to PLAY the guitar properly, this would make all the difference?

Could this be where I'm going wrong? MW2...BC2...prestige could be in my grasp maybe?

You forgot to add the dull wood paneling! This keeps down on the distracting reflections in the room!

Isn't that suppose to be "Maximus Comfort"...I just want to be sure before I put all this is check. Also, what do I do about the Head band deal??? I mean I have NO hair so, hair can't be in my eyes. :? Is this going to screw up the whole process???

Yes you definitely need hair...I would have thought anyway :? I'm sure this would be a factor in trophy achievement.

Max? How important is hair? :?

I'm sure you could probably get one just like this with a 'built in' ninja scarf ...if you shop around though

    Re: Gaming tips

yeah, the ninja headband/scarf is pretty important, you may want to try it without hair and see if it still works for you. If not you'll likely need to grow it out.

And Lady, i think you can get by without actually being able to play guitar, maybe just learn the main riff of Smoke on the Water like every other person who has ever picked up a guitar and you should be good. It's all about the ninja headband, you may just need to adjust it or pick another pattern until you find the one that works for you

I have studied your ways, masterful sensei. But I have made some adaptations that work better for me. Specifically, the book case. I have replaced mine with a mini fridge full of beer within arms reach.

Indecision may or may not be my problem.

that would work. the guitar part really only comes in during down time anyways so it's just there to help you kill time

yes, as far as i know I am the highest level, i am for sure out of everyone in my friend's list at least. The closest person to me is Wicked, also being level 12 but he has 636 trophies whereas i have 826. It seems that 5-6 is the average in the clan though

yes, she's playing on what looks like a smaller sized Samsung LCD so if she is not completely, she is almost outside the veiwing angle and likely seeing distorted color and picture and getting killed constantly

That's the key right there River.
@ Lady and Iron...Thanks for the wig ideas.
@ Max...there is NO growing it out to it. That's my whole point. The Military took my hair years ago and it really never grew back. :x So, I have a Solar Panel on my head now.
