for now, I will not be on XBL, though I said it was fixed this morning, it is once again screwed up and I now have to wait for Linksys to send me a new router. I hope to be back on by the end of the week. Can anyone suggest a better router?

As long as you open the right ports you should be fine. Had to do that to mine and it is not a "gaming router".

I searched online and figured it out how to do it. Depends on the router you have now. Basically you have to log into your modem, go to the firewall setting I believe it was and make a new rule for the firewall. Open port 80 and another one. Umm can't really remember to much else. Any of the techies here can answer better I'm sure. Just go to Google type in your router name and open NAT. You should find some info in there. So I couldn't really give you a whole answer.Originally Posted by Trained2Survive

How big is your house? An ethernet bridge will work but man that really is almost unecessary if you dont live in a mansion size house.. Pm me specific info and we will troubleshoot this..
