How do ya'll upload the cool pics and stuff for avatars?

How do ya'll upload the cool pics of yourselves or cool looking avatar stuff? I have tried to upload pics of me to put a face with the name, but it keeps telling me that the file is too big or stuff like that? I would like to upload something other than the default image (no offense). I like the image, just want to personalize my profile and all. I'm not computer literate at all. Keep that in mind before you give me info. I know how to upload pics, just not to change my avatar. Lol!! Semper Fi!!

You have to resize the image to the size req it says the size limit on the upload page whitch is Maximum dimensions; width: 100 pixels, height: 100 pixels, file size: 48.83 KiB. go to http://www.resizemypicture.com/ and click the browse button at the top of the page and select your image, the choose format and size create and save then you can upload it to your profile make sense?

If you need some help with avatars, we have a number of designers on here that should be able to help you out. If you look through the member list, the designers are designated as such. Just shoot them a PM.
