Taking a vacation from my vacation

Had a awesome time back home 3 weeks R&R but my Honeydewlist was so long i didn't get to sign in to Xbox live once...dangnabbit!!! but i did get everything accomplished(and my wife is happy) and after our recent move she had already done so much of the unpacking i had to try and finish my part. we also spent 4 days down in Walt Disney world stayed at the Shades of Green. very nice! ive stayed at 2 other MWR hotels(Hale Koa-Hawaii & Edeil Weiss-Germany) and this one was just as nice. we did 4 parks in 4 days and now my kids are old enough(10&14) they could ride all the rides !! no height restrictions.. but it was ruff i must have walk at least 100 miles a day.. me and my wife were exhausted.. but we both agree it was ok but not as good a our time last year when we stayed 1 week on property at Universal studios in Orlando at the hard rock hotel! that so far has been our best vacation!! Shades of green was nice but Disney is so big your just another number..joe blow but at hard rock we got treatment like vip and the price was about the same from our trip to Disney... any who imback in the sand box again (Kandahar airfield) but im a short timer now leaving in under 6 months!!

My wife and I are planning a trip to Disney this Dec. I actually know someone who has family that works at Disney, so hopefully will be able to get a discount.
We're tentatively planning on staying at the Caribbean Beach Resort. Do you know anything about that one by chance?

Yea i was there TDY just a few months ago and part of the Conference was a nite time bus trip to Universal. They have a City Walk now which is similar to Disney's Boardwalk. It has a lot of restaurants and bars and a few shops. Didn't get to go into the park though. I'll save that for when I take my kids down in a couple years.
