    Question for all Clan members?!

For all of you out there with different clan sigs...When was it passed down that we are not going to be uniform and look sharp by having the same clan sigs? If you like the one you have submit it and lets put it to vote but i believe as of right now the ones that you originally started with are the only ones that should be used. I must have missed the memo..

Re: Question for all Clan members?!

I have never seen a memo that said we all had to use the same template for sigs, but it doesn't matter to me. I just switched off to do my MAG tribute sigs, but I will add my other as well. I always use our official sig outside the forums.

I never thought it was a big issue.

Never saw the memo saying not to change your sig. Think it provides a little personalization for each and everyone. Does it really matter as long as USMG is represented in the sig?

On this side or the other, we will meet once again.

Let's please not create an argument and all parties check with the "Rule Makers" before assumptions are made about the clan policies.

Re: Question for all Clan members?!

Hopefully one of the officers will post here what they want the ruling to be. I do think that outside of the USMG forums, we should be using an "official" clan sig for uniformity. There are a number of us that post on other game forums.

I never saw anything that said we had to use a specific sig either. I just re-read the rules for the clan and there is nothing in there that says we have to be uniform. I had db make mine up because (1) I didn't have time to make one for myself, (2) I liked the sig. I do like change now and then and I agree with db's post (in whatever thread that was) that options should be fine but that we should have a standard sig available for those that don't know how to make one. I mean a signature is supposed to be your mark right? I don't sign my name the same way everyone else signs thiers. Your signature should really say something about you (for example, I take it from Ironhide's sig that he really likes M&Ms )

Re: Question for all Clan members?!

I think we should use the Official Clan Sig on other sites and on this site in all the forums, but still be able to personalize ourselves by having a secondary clan sig. Notice the use of the word "secondary" (underneath our official clan sig, like mine). So yes Silent, I think we should all be sharp and in uniform, but still have our own voices.

Re: Question for all Clan members?!

I agree with you all there..I do like the new sigs BTW i am not about the change at all !! I even awhile back tried out a new sig but then i was told that i needed to be uniform and get rid of the new sigs.. This post was not meant to sound like a shithead or like a dick..I was basically asking if anybody had been told they COULD wear new sigs cuz I really really really really want a different one lol..I say for the sake of continuing with the uniform concept that TLOg likes, lets wear our regular one and sport your new design under it..then submit your new design and we can approach and vote for a new sig..Sorry to sound like a dick before, it was seriously a innocent question

Re: Question for all Clan members?!

I figured you weren't trying to be "moody" about the topic. As we all know, when you type something it can read differently on the other end! :?
If they want uniformity, I am cool with that. I am not much for dual sigs since it clutters things up, so I will switch mine to a rotating gif. Any objections with that? If so I will go to dual sigs. ITS ALL GOOD!

I think that would be the best alternative, i do not like the dual signatures, out of personal preference.

Could someone make me a Official USMG sig? I suck at that kind of stuff and I'll proudly wear it on every forum I visit!

With photoshop it is relatively easy. Not sure about other programs. Here is a vid on how. I should have mine done tonight. If you like it, I can do the same for you.

Re: Question for all Clan members?!

i do not understand all these computer things, 'cause computers are hard. DBG made my sig for me cause it is way beyond my skill level. My vote is that anyone can do whatever, as long as I can keeps what i have cause i dont know how to make it any different. Don't bother sending me instructions on how to do it, it's just not gonna work out for me. I only recently figured out how to post youtube clips and pics. There were many failed attempts. :?

Here is the new rotating sig. I might tweak the times some, but you get the idea. If someone wants this done, I am more than willing to help out.

After seeing that video, you should make a dancing Urkel, either sig or profile pic. If it's a profile pic, I'd totally use it!!

that tutorial doesn't mention it since it wouldn't work so well in the example image but when you start making your frames in the animation window, use the tween tool to give smoother transitions from one signature to the next. so instead of it just popping from one to the other, it would be a fade from one image into the other. I personally think it looks a lot sharper that way but if i completely lost you guys i can make it for you later today
