Hey Rookie. I think I still have you on my friends list on the PS3 but it's gonna be another week at least before I get the new PS3. It's out at BestBuy over here but I'm opting to get it from Costco since they carry an insane return plan. The guy at Costco said they should be getting it either tomorrow (which is a small chance) or thier shipment next Friday.

I here you silent, I hardly ever play 360, I only bought it for the 2 things it's good for. Halo Series and the Saga which is Gears of War! LOL @ Redcon, yes bro I still have you on my list..PS3 for life..and yes you have been MIA for a bit, but the usual suspects are still playing BFBC2 and MAG..also I will add you silent let's gets our Frags on!!

I just got the game so I'm still playing through the campaign. I tried to join up in firefight with silent last night but I learned that you need a hard drive for co-op and some other mp stuff in reach. I have a usb stick as my 360 storage device but i guess this doesn't suffice. After a little research I found that MS is "working on the issue". Seems to me that ms just wanted to make a buck on all the users who just bought the new arcade slim and reach. Anyway I guess i'll wait and see if a patch comes out, as I dont want to spend $130 for a 250gb hdd, and I don't know if i should trust those bobo 3rd party hdds that are $40.

Don't they have smaller drives for less? Also you're right not to trust the 3rd party HDDs. I got one from Ebay and it kept corrupting my Final Fantasy saves. I ended up putting out the money for the 250 since I had already given my 120 away after I got the 3rd party one.

As far as I can tell MS has stopped shipping anything less than the 250gb. So I would have to find somewhere that still has old stock. but even with the prices of those (they dont cost much less) I feel like its a rip off and might as well go with the 250.

I guess the 60gb xbl starter pack for $75 from newegg isn't TOO bad. Comes with a 3 month card and a wired headset... :?

Eh thanks but I already got it figured out. I got a WD Elements 120gb drive for ~$25 (i love slickdeals) and found a xbox case for <$10 on ebay. Those plus a lil program called hddhackr and I have a sub $40 120gb xbox360 compatible hdd in brand new condition.

So I'm ready to join in on some firefights (or whatever other modes needed a hard drive) when ever you guys are.
