I'm Pleasantly surprised on how many 40k fans we have here... I grew up in the late 70's with 40k table top and paper and pencil old school D&D..... Now instead of just imagining them we get to control them in 2D/3D!! How AWESOME!!

Never played 40K, toyed with the original though. Didn't have the most or best miniatures. But I made the absolute best tables. Plus most people didn't like playing with me, as being a framer from the age of 12, when I got into tabletop gaming at 16 or so, I didn't need the tape measure or ruler. Being able to eyeball down to a quarter inch is evil.

I never played the table top game of WH40K but go into painting the figures when I was in the Corps buddy of mine saw me making a tank model and painting it. We would buy them paint them then sell them for 3times the price. Have just started painting some for my son doing space marine but using Marine Corps dress blue colors I'll post once they are done. I got 5 recon 5 assault 15 tactical 3 bikes 1 bikeside car 1 rhino and 1 dreadnought.
