    Alpha Male Challenge

Check this out, it's called the Alpha Male Challenge:
    http://www.alphamalechallenge.com/

I started program this 2 weeks ago after picking up the book at a local book store for $25 bucks. I read it, and it's been incredible. I'm 35 years old, 6'2", 234lbs bodybuilder. I slacked a bit over the past 4 or 5 months and decided I had to do something about it. I found the book, Alpha Male Challenge by chance. Glad I did.

So in a nutshell, the program is 10 weeks. Has you in the gym 3 days a week, and focuses on cardio as well but they refer to it as "Play Heart". It suggests picking up things like raquette ball, or tennis, maybe basket ball etc instead of just running for 30 mins. Unless of course you like to run. After 9 years in the Marine Corps I DESPISE running. Anyway, it goes on about how to naturally raise testosterone levels and eating fresh (organic). You know, when you go to the grocery store you only shop on the outer ring, never go down the isles unless you're getting spices. Fresh Fruits, vegies, lots of Meat and Sweet Potatoes.

The actual work out program has you in the gym 3 times a week for about an hour. The work outs are ALWAYS different. They start out with items that gets your heart rate up, then focuses on heavy and low reps, then goes straight to high reps low weight with only 1 min rest time. It has been a complete system shock to me and I love it. I was VERY sceptical, as I've been used to going into a gym for well over 8 years 5 days a week and it's common for me to load 300 lbs on a bar and benching it no problem. This program has me in the gym 3 days a week, Monday, Wednesday and Fridays and my first thought was, "How in the hell can that accomplish anything?". This program has been kicking my rear and I can't get enough of it. In the past 2 weeks I've put on more lead mass and my body fat has visibly decreased. And I still have 8 weeks to go.

The only thing I've really needed to invest in (other than time) was: A Stop watch, a Pen, and a notebook to keep track of my work outs. The book explains it all and it's actually a great read. it's FOR MEN. Ever watch the Man Show back in the day? Ziggy Zaggy oi oi oi. Anyway, just go spend the money and get the book. ALPHA MALE CHALLENGE, read it and give it a shot. Here's another summary that I found that kinda wraps it up a bit and gives more insight.

    Re: Alpha Male Challenge

Great post. I'll definitely check this out. I'm a fatboy needing to shed some pounds. I'm in the gym about 2-3 times a week and the weather is warming up here in LA so I'm gonna start balling agin at my local park. My biggest setback is diet. I KNOW this, yet I can't get over it. Constant battle.
