I just got a closed multiplayer beta invite for this game, did anyone else here get one?

Honestly i didn't even know this beta was coming, i was just checking for my LBP 2 beta code and found this one sitting in my email inbox :mrgreen:

I can't speak for Max, but I sign up for newsletters and promotions from various game publishers. In this case, the e-mail came from EA. I also got a beta for GOW: Ghost of Sparta this way, by signing up at the website.

I'm very hopeful that I'll get a beta invite for Killzone3, but I suspect Sony will only offer it to Plus members. If that's the case, I'll have no reservations about getting a subscription...IF that's one of the perks.

River is correct, this beta invite was sent out to a group of people that were signed up on the EA site.

If you want beta invites make sure you always choose to opt IN for promotions otherwise you won't be eligible to be sent a code.

Just wanted to give a little info on this beta but since it is a closed beta and we are bound to a NDA (nondisclosure act) i can't actually give details so let me just say, if you were in and remember the aliens vs. predators beta/demo.......it feels A LOT like that lol

I tried a couple of rounds last night and I wasn't all that impressed right off the bat. Granted it's only a beta, but it's got a ways to go if they want to sell it on the grounds of having good multiplayer.

I dont know much about the multiplayer but I do look forward to the single player action. I have watched the comics, read the book, beat the first game and can't wait to see the second one. I'm also looking forward to the arcade version that explains how everything went to crap on the Sprawl before Isacc shows up.
