Warhammer 40k Space Marines

Hey everyone, if u check out this months Game Informer Magazine there is an article for the upcoming Warhammer 40K Space Marines for the 360 and PC. What are ur thoughts on the upcoming game?

My thoughts on the game are a bit of interest on it. Rumors have been flying around that it will be a FPS/RPG where u can go around like Mass Effect or Borderlands. There are also rumors that it will be a RTS just like Warhammer 40K Dawn of War and up. I hope they make it into the FPS/RPG. I have all the RTS games for Warhammer and i LOVE them. Some of the best RTS games i have ever played.

I am interested in what rumors u have heard and what u think they will take this game to.

From gamespot its a FPS only seems to have space orks so far. Nothing on games workshop website. I'm also looking forward to this the only FPS in Warhammer 40K was fire warrior for the PS2.

I have alot of the book from the Warhammer 40K Universe. SOme of the best books i have ever read. It was the reason i started playing the video games and it got me back into the tabletop version. The universe is just soo rich with the stuff they put in those books.

Amen to that brother, I read trough the entire UltraMarine Omibus my first deployment, and the Horus Heresy Series the second deployment.

I think Horus Heresy series was my favorate, gave even more back story to when the Space Marines where born and Chaos come from

I get them all since i travel so much I have posted some book reviews but if guys ever deploy just send your mailing address and i will send the book once I read them to you all. I like Gaunt Ghost the best and the Space wolf series. Also like the ciphas cain series hell I like them all.

I read majority of the books and i have to agree with Saviger by saying the Horus Heresy series was by far my favorite books to read. Just the depth they go with it and the description of how the seeds of Chaos was born within the ranks of the Emperor's Space Marines is just sooo awesome. And if we go with the heroes and villians of the Warhammer 40k Universe. I would have to say Horus is my all time Favorite person of all time. His rise and fall is just soo epic just makes me wish that our future can turn into this. lol

An update from thsi months issue of Gameinformer. 2 races have been comfirmed for the game. The UltraMarines and the Orks. It is goin to be a FPS and Dynasty Warrior kind of game. U get ur first and thrid person cravings and for those Hack and Slash guys out there u can fill those craving with a Chain Sword to a Power Hammer. I for one cant wait to use a Power Hammer and crush those orks heads beneath the boots of the Emperors Space Marines.
