Next countdown??

What game does everyone want to see a countdown for? I know COD is coming out soon now but don't know if it would even be worth it to put on up for that. So after COD what is a big game that everyone is pretty much looking forward to??

Since I don't think Uncanny X-Men for XBL counts there's just one: Duke Nukem Forever. It'll be a long wait till 2011.

LOL if it was my personal choice I would put up a killzone 3 one, j/k. If we get it narrowed down to a couple of choices we can then probably just throw up a poll to see what majority say about it. I am biased towards the PS3 but do think it probably should be a game that is released on both systems to be fair. Unless we did two countdowns for two games. Not sure how that would look though....

I also agree that it should be, at least for now, a multi-platform title. COD: Black Ops gets my vote. What would be really cool is if the countdown graphic could actually rotate between different titles showing their respective release dates...kind of like an animated GIF.

It would take some work to assemble and code for it to be a true dynamic interface where we could enter a title and images, and have it scroll through them like a rotating banner.

someone could just create an animated gif with several games on it. (have to keep an eye on file size though, if it gets to big, it will take forever to load.)

i'd assume you mean Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood but truth be told, that game is not Assassin's Creed 3, it is more like Assassin's Creed 2.5, rumor has it Assassin's Creed 3 is scheduled for a 2011 release :mrgreen:

Really? Do they have to set it at WWII? I think they should just progress little by little. The eras they went through have been fun. I just think that if they just jump into WWII then ill just lose interest because of the firearms. I dont see how u can make something like AC2 and just put it into WWII.

And AC3 isn't even rumored to be set in WW2. It's a reporter taking a statement out of context.

If it's going to follow a similar timeline established in AC1 and 2, it'd be events in the 16-1700's.

French Revolution, Spanish/English War, English civil war, two pretty significant wars in Russia, French/English war, French Indian wars, American Revolution, another French Revolution, or Napoleanic wars are all possible.

If I was a betting man, though, and I wanted to make a tie in to pre-established works of fiction, I'd go with the French/English war, and link it in a most minute way to Alexandre Dumas' work. Otherwise, I'd say either the French or English revolution.....most likely the French, due to the studio.

So I'll be wagering on the French revolution for AC3.
