I never played Fallout 3, so I probably won't pick this up. I probably should have though, given that it's a style of game I love playing.

Ok. Picked up my copy yesterday! It's awesome! Spent half of the day playing it, and I'm barely into the game itself! The world is HUGE! Alot to explore! I haven't even made it into Vegas yet! LOL!! Any other opinions yet? Semper Fi!!

Me too. Loaned it out to a friend though and have to wait to get it back (seeing as he has to mail it). I went ahead and sent the FO NV to him since it's gonna be a while. He may as well finish it first and send both back to me. Heck by the time I get them back Black Ops will be out

I picked mine up yesterday as well. I was goin to go pick it up at the midnight release but my ex-fiance had other plans for me (Breaking up with me). But this game is awesome. I just got some missions done but its just soo huge. This will deffiently keep me occupied for a good bit. lol

I really want the game. However since I went out and bought Halo: Reach, Dead Rising 2, and fully paid off my Fable 3 pre-order I think I'll have to rent it for awhile or steal a friend's haha.

I picked up the other day. It has sucked me in, and i really did not dig Fallout 3. You can aim down the sights of the weapons, and modify them. It is really glitchy however, but i have to say it is a great game.
It is the perfect balance of an rpg and a shooter kind of game.

I agree. I have been playing it for a few days now, and the glitches really do suck! Some of them are funny! But some get really annoying! Sometimes I can't go into VATS or even draw my weapon! That sucks! Another annoying one is when I'm reloading, I end up reloading twice! It doesn't take away extra ammo, but the time it takes to reload sucks! And yes, I wish there was a "sprint" mode where you could run faster. Getting to new places takes a long time sometimes! But all in all, I'm still having fun playing it though. The world is really huge! I guess I will have to get used to the glitches until they get patches for them.

Hmmm...Are you playing the 360 or the PS3? I have had my game freeze on me and I have had to restart my console. That sucked!! Yesterday, when I had a certain weapon equipped, I couldn't switch to a certain type of ammo. So I was forced to use a weaker weapon. I jave had key characters freeze on me and I couldn't talk to them when I was needed to. I have had some enemies freeze like in rocks or in structures and I couldn't shoot/kill them, but they could me. Even when I used VATS, it still wouldn't work. These are just a few of the problems I am having. It gets so bad at times, that I have actually thought of taking the game back! Just my opinion though! Semper Fi!!

This is the reason I picked up Fallout 3 Game of the year edition... after I beat that, I'll come on over to the new vegas side. So far the game is phenomenal. I especially like coming out of the vag in the beginning. LOL
