    Unread post

In the forums, for example in scuttlebutt, when you hit the drop down for "mark all post read." It doesn't seem to do anything for me and all the posts that were red before are still shown as unread. Not sure if it's just me or what. Kind of makes it look like there are a bunch of topics that I haven't checked when they are months old.

red as in color red, or red as in the topic title is bolded?

    Unread items are bold
    read items are unbolded.

Ok nevermind I figured it out. They have two red icons with the envelope in them. One is for red color hot topics with unread posts with flames coming out of the envelope, the other is red with a closed envelope for hot topics with no unread posts. I am just used to seeing read for unread topics or posts it was confussing me.

On topic but not totally, is it possible to set up the "Mark as read" to be sub-forum based? I like to clear out each sub-forum as I read through them, but will skip threads for games or systems I don't play, and am too anal to not go back and recheck it when I see it bolded.

If it's not doable I can learn to live, I'm sure. But if it is, that would be a pretty cool option.

"Mark this Forum read" is a default option for any forum regardless on whether its a parent forum or child.

It's in the "Forum Tools" drop-down on the Gray ribbon right above the topic listing.

Oh, I found it. I was just wondering if it was possible to set it up to just wipe specific forums. Like the cinema forum, or just Scuttlebutt...stuff like that. Perhaps I didn't word the question properly. That or I just don't understand your response properly...sorry?

Okay, apparently I'm a complete moron. I found it.
