99.8% Red Dead...Grrrrr!!!

Anyone have any idea what's going on with this stupid game! I am missing something but I have been through the 100% list online and I have everything on it!

I have 9-8-4 bounties in the relevant areas? I have all the houses....guns....challenges etc etc.

I have played and won all the mini games!

I just can't figure out what it is?

The only bit I can possibly think of is in the Tesero Azul hideout where you have to save the guy who is about to get shot ...and it is the Bounty that is holding him hostage. If you don't manage to save him and then you kill the Bounty...the Bounty icon just disappears and it then says HIDEOUT COMPLETED across the screen?

This Bounty came up as a wanted poster though which is confusing?

Having said all that though my stats say that I have 8 bounties completed in Mexico anyway so this should complete the percentage toward the 100%.

It's really annoying!

Anyone had similar problems or know something that I don't about this?

I did and it was because I hadn't found all the locations on the map. Are you in the Social Club? If so they have a 100% page that shows you in pictures what you have.

Its a fairly well known bug post 1.04 update. Here is the official link to the Rockstar forums that should help you. If not let me know and I can always find something else out for ya.

ok i looked up your stats on the rockstar social club. It lists you as having 99.9% completion, yet it shows several missing items for you so i'm assuming it is not completely up to date. It does however give us a much narrower list of what you may be missing.

since we already know bounties are the only thing worth .1% it must be one of the two locations it says you are missing. it lists Plata Grande and Repentance Rock so do more bounties in mexico and new austin.

Hmmm...I definitely have al the locations Chelle cos I bought the maps from the store.

As for the Bounties Max I have 9-8-4 so that should be it right? Also it definitely says 99.8 on my game stats so I don't know where the discrepancy is?

Didn't know you could check that on Social Club tho thanks guys I'll take a look.

Hey Max I just checked out my stats against yours and the only thing that seemed to be missing for 100% was houses. You have 13 and I have 12. However when I check the 100% list and map etc...I do actually have all the houses?

It must be glitched

... especially as on my PS3 it says 99.8 and online Social Club says 99.9

Well im always down to play sum RDR. The online crap id the only thing keeping me from plat that stupid game. Hell if i could get the few win X in a row id prolly grind up to 50 just for the plat. Let me know!!

Max and K Man were helping me the other night with the posse thing so I'm sure they won't mind playing.

the lvl grinding is a bit tedious but there are ways to make it a little easier. The Solomon's Folly gang hideout only takes a few minutes to complete and you could easily earn 1000-2000 xp solo, only problem is they patched it so you get 400-500 xp now. Solution is you go in and delete the patch from the game data utility folder on your PS3 and go to play the game but decline to install the updates. this signs you out of the network but you can still play multiplayer by choosing LAN. The downside is you can't play online so it has to be done completely solo unless you have people with the game and their own ps3s at your house on your local network.

The new "Friendly Free Roam" option is also a nice addition so you don't have to worry about people just running around trying to kill you all day while you're doing objectives. The 2 PvP trophies (3 free for all wins and 4 team wins) are annoying but can also be done quite easily with 2 or more people. The only tricky part is getting into a lobby with no one in it and quickly voting to kick anyone else who joins so they don't rain on your boosting parade
