Let me just say, "WOW!". For those of you who have never heard of him, Bruno Sammartino is a legendary pro wrestler who --in his day-- was the biggest thing going. You do not have to like or understand wrestling to enjoy this story, since that's not what it's about. The man was (and still is, even at age 75), a legit bad ass. He did not use steroids or rely on flashy moves and gimmicks like today's wrestlers do. He was simply a massive individual with unparalleled skills and charisma. If he were to smack you in the back of the head, even at his current age, chances are the back of your skull would be caved in. But I digress.
Bruno is highly revered in the Pittsburgh area, and is also a national hero in his native Italy. A documentary on his life is currently in production, and this is a part of it where he returns to an area of Italy where he and his family had to hide from the SS. This is a harrowing story, something just like out of a movie. Spare a few minutes to watch this. You'll be amazed at his survival story and won't be disappointed.
