    SUV help

I'll be in the market for a new car for the fam later on this year. Right now I'm just prospecting. Current models I'm considering are the pre-beak 08-09 Acura MDX, 08-10 Volvo XC90,etc Looking primarily for a base model. Paramount are safety and reliability. It's only my wife, 4 yr old daughter and myself. A compact crossover(Acura RDX,CRV,XC60 etc) may be fitting but I want the cargo space just in case. Any recommendations are welcome.

I have a 2008 Honda Pilot; best SUV i've ever had.
Great Comfort, awesome ride, good power, plenty of safety features. JD Power rated. I traded my 2002 Tundra Limited in on it (Which hurt, I loved that truck).

I got the middle model (EX I think..), which ran about 32k nicely equipped, you can get a base model in the mid-upper 20s

Please do not contact me for recruiting issues or to add or create you a signature. I will ignore you.

This is up my alley but I'm not in the market currently:

I like that it's certified with an extended warranty. Only question I have is what hhypothetical price could this be haggled to?
