Droid X or Droid 2 Global

It's almost that time to upgrade. It's just a tough choice between the Droid X and the Droid 2 Global. They both seem relatively the same stats wise but I haven't been able to find out much on the Global, especially it's release. Anyone got any info to help out with this choice? Or has anyone played around with a demo of the D2G to give your impression?

I know nothing of the D2G, but my wife has the DX and loves it. When it comes time for me to upgrade, I was going to get the D2, because I wanted the keyboard. After messing with her X, I am getting that instead. The virtual keyboard is great, and the phone is very thin, large, but thin.

They don't call it a droid over there because they were afraid that the public might think that their phones were going to take over the world every time they say DROID....LOL!

Droid X. Bigger in this case definitely = better.

One of my good friends has an Iphone, and I have yet to find anything he can do on it regularly that I can't, or would want to.

Plus Iphone locked to Quest = locked to sucking ass. And even after Verizon picks it up, I doubt I'll get one now. Only draw at that point is itunes library, which I don't think I can access through my droid. But that's why I have an ipod.

Bit off on this one wick3d, Iphone will currently only work on the GSM networks (ATT and T-Mobile)

Also with a Jail-broken iphone it will only work on AT&Ts 3g and not T-Mobile's. The frequencies are slightly different, T-mobiles is 1800 Mhz and AT&Ts is 1900 Mhz. So you will be stuck using the slower EDGE 2g GSM network.

Look around, there are music players that will sync with itunes for android. Isyncr and tunesync are two of know of. Or you can just copy them to your phone in a music folder of your player can play them. Personally I love poweramp. It is an awsome music player for android. It also has built in codecs to play most files too.

I prefer winamp, and winamp for droid.

Your windows client will sync with your handset over your Wi-Fi, no cables needed!
