    NBA Jam...on the Wii?!!

    [youtube:3n0avn3c]hYZ4ykfTVJU[/youtube:3n0avn3c]

Don't fret. With EA at the reigns, it'll most likely hit XBL and the PSN. They can't bypass all that revenue.

I saw this to... CRAZY AWESOMENESS... I don't know how many hr's i spent on Jam T.E. for the Super Nintendo. This better hit PSN cause i really don't want to buy a WII just for a $5 game and Trophy/Cheevs for this game would be awesome!

On this side or the other, we will meet once again.

I used to love this game back in the day. My friends and I would spend hours playing it.

They'll see the errors of their ways. This demands a PSN/XBL arcade release. This is made for online and a W#ii friend code won't cut it. :x

BAD decision to put on the Wii. First off the Wii blows, unless your 12.
They are missing the core market of older gamers like us, who grew up on NBA JAM back in the day. Not to mention with PSN or XBL online play would really make this game shine.

I think TLOG spells it out as well:

I own a Wii and I wouldn't. It's injustice. On the official Facebook fanpage where they ask who we'd like to see in the game I wrote "The PS3 and Xbox 360."

you have abused your caps lock privilege, and shall not use it until:
    1. Grow up beyond 12
    2. I deem it necessary to award you with such privileges.

    Carry on, as you were.

This just keeps getting better and better.

NBA Jam Also Features 80's Basketball Legends

The new NBA Jam may be set in the present day, but that doesn't mean every player in the game is on a 2010 NBA roster. Two in particular stand out: legends Larry Bird and Earvin "Magic" Johnson.

Yes, pitched at those aged 30 and up, the game will include a campaign mode which culminates in a match against Bird & Johnson, who presumably will be playing with their 1980's bodies and skillsets, not those of 2010.

Old-timers like myself will remember that the original NBA Jam let you play as non-ballers like Bill Clinton and His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales.

I don't care if the new one has politicans or not, now I know there's throwback NBA stars, I want some Spud Webb, with a little Horace Grant on the side. Or should that be the other way around...
