    IR Remote Converter to RF

I currently have an IR Remote for my cable box and need to change it to RF so I can control a TV in another room (split). I was searching, and seen a company called Next Generation that makes a converter for the remote by using a battery transmitter. Has anyone tried it? It was only $35 on amazon, so I ordered it. I will let you know how it works for me.

Re: IR Remote Converter to RF

I finally had a chance to install it, and it works awesome! I have my cable box split between two tv's, and I can run the box from any room in the house. It is a simple product that works perfectly for what I need. Here is a link to it.

This product makes for a very clean installation on wall mounted LCD's. I have my cable box in the basement.
