I think the login timeout time is too short. It seems like if I am working on a post, but I have to do something else. I can't come back and finish; or if I click anywhere it automatically has logged me out. I would like at least 30 minutes to an hour of idle time before I am logged off if its mandatory.

It's currently set for 60 minutes. 3600 seconds
You might have a bad / corrupted cookie. Try clearing your cache, and logging back in.
