    God of War III

First off, I would have put this under the PS3 Folder but their was no option to post a new Topic.

I thing there should be a topic for this content for people who have the game and strategies used to solve puzzles and beat bosses. So we can all seek and exact our revenge on the gods of Olympus, Mainly Zeus, but you get the Idea if you have ever played any game in the series.

I already have some tips, so lets get it put up so I can post them...

This First tip is free............DONT EAT YELLOW SNOW.............you are all welcome, you heard it here first......lol

I thought it was Square, Circle, Circle, X Triangle, Square, R1, L2 and R3 then it opens?

ok i got it, it was Square, Circle, Circle, X, Triangle, Square, L3, then slide a knife on the side and it opens right up. Just finished taking care of Hades on Titan mode (hard), can't imagine how tough Chaos mode will be. I've probably died close to 150 times now lol

    Re: God of War III

has anyone received their special preorder costume code yet? I've read a few things here and there of people saying no one has, others claim they have it. I really don't like the way they did this one, added more complication to it than needed.

To clarify everything, when you get the code from Gamestop, you enter that code on the registration site www.godofwar.com/skin, NOT the redeem codes section on the XMB, and enter any information required, then they are supposed to email you another code which can be redeemed by the usual means (redeem code option). Once you beat the game once you will then have access to your special costume and not a moment sooner

Now i'm probably the last to know this but i thought i'd share in case anyone else was oblivious like me.

I was scrolling through the XMB with my GOW3 disc in and as i passed videos i noticed a section called trailers that i had never noticed before. Did you know the GOW3 disc has beautiful full 1080 HD trailers for Gran Turismo 5, Heavy Rain, ModNation Racers, and MAG included on it? Pretty cool, they should do this more often, as well as put demos on the discs too. Bluray discs have a lot of room on them, utilize every inch of it

another little tid bit of info i'd like to share, taken from page 3 of the manual:
(Hint) to remove a disc, touch the eject button after quitting the game
oh is that how you do it? thank you for this wonderful tip, whoever wrote the manual. Not only is it in this manual, it is in every manual i had immediate access to. Thank you, whoever made the instruction manual template.

There is an eject button?! I always use tweezers to get the discs out!

    Re: God of War III

So Hercules is a MuthaF#$%#$%$@ BEAST!!! However if you play defensively and let him attack at you first you should be able to figure out his patterns...........Also Stay Away........attack from distance and only use combos right after he ground pounds, only then at that moment are the combos lethal. After performing a successful combo be prepared to roll. This will take some practice. After you deal enough Damage He is going to charge you so just press the corresponding context button and use him as a battering ram into the Brambled spikes....I wont spoil anymore for you, you should be able to figure out the rest.........If you are playing on Easy mode, disregard everything I have said because you are a LAME AZZ NOOB of a Gamer and maybe you should turn your Controller over to the gaming authorities because EASY Mode should never exist on any game...........ever..................

    Re: God of War III

Titan mode is really driving me nuts lol. Most of the game is not too difficult, maybe have to retry 3 or 4 times for some battles but there have been 3 places now that i've been stuck at for hours. i have over 300 deaths now and still haven't even finished the game. It's not so much that the enemies are tricky to beat, it's the shear number that always comes at you at once that gets me stuck. Get knocked down once and you're pretty screwed because 6 other enemies are all going to hit you while your getting back to your feet and you're dead.
Must move faster....must smash the square button faster....must destroy Zeus

Yeah I am going to have to disagree here. I play almost all single player games on easy. Why for the simple fact that I like to get through them quicker so I can play multiplayer mode with everyone else. I also don't like getting so frustrated that I quit the game before I finish from dying like 10,000,000,000 times. By all means if you want the hard road then take it, but I will stick to easy. I have to say I play on easy but still have no problem proving myself online against other worthy opponents. Just ask anyone here I don't think that I am the greatest player by any means but will definitely pull my weight in gold on the virtual battlefield (unless I am flying a helicopter in BFBC2 ).

I agree I play through the first time on easy so i can do the whole scouting thing, then i play multiplayer, then i double around and go for the harder gameplay options for the achievements

One of the best games I ever played . The last bit of getting to destroy zues untill you stop pressing the bottons was amazing.
