Major Winter Passed Band of Brothers

Major Winters of Band of brothers passed today

Retired Army Maj. Richard Winters, whose World War II exploits were made famous in the TV movie, Band of Brothers, has died following a lengthy illness.

I actually have meet Major winters several times, he was always at veterans or VFW meeting or conventions here in central PA. I was wrong he actually passed about 2 weeks before, but being the humble man he was he had asked to buried before they announced his death. That shows what kind of man he was.
