how hard is it to set up wifi for 360?

I'm losing my mind sitting around the house without psn. I finally got netflix to work but psn is still down and I'm to the point where I'll pay for the live account for a month just to get back online. Do I have to buy some kind of external wifi device for the 360 to get the wifi set up?

Yes u need the wifi adapter for the xbox unless you have an xbox slim which is about 50 bucks or more. You can always just run an Ethernet cable

If you have the new 360 slim, no. But for the older models you'll need the Wireless N Networking Adapter ($80) or an Ethernet cable (6' - 20', $20 - $30) long enough to connect the modem to the 360.

I could be wrong about the prices though. You might want to check them out on your own.

You can still watch netflix with the PSN down. I watched all day. Just go through the motions of signing on and get through the error message then start watching...
