Yea wow wtf. But you want to know a sad fact? I worked with this guy once that was arrested and spent 6 months in jail then release on probation for supposedly spanking/hitting his stepdaughter. That is what he told all of us at work. He was having a problem with his probation officer not being co-operative and making everything difficult for him. He had heard that my girlfriend that I lived with at the time was also a state parole/probation officer and could I ask her to look into it and maybe help him out. Well she checked into his case and with his probation officer and found out that he had molested his daughter not hit his stepdaughter or anything like that. Well he got no help from me and I made sure everyone we worked with knew what he really did to his daughter.

It's sad that he only got 6 months in jail for molesting his own daughter and this guy in the article is getting 1 to 5 years for animal cruelty. Since when is an animal's value more than a human's and particularly a child? What a pathetic society we live in that this could happen.

thats what we get with animal rights activist running amuck.
not same thing, but in Cali. a Animal rights group convinced the Govt to ration the water supply to local farmers creating a drought.... all to save the population of a small fish.... Why create a water, then food shortage for people just for a small fish?!??!?
