I know it's been a while since I personally picked this game up, but there's a little incentive to revisit it. Perhaps another idea for a clan get together?

I'm already topped out on lvl, legendary 5 lvl 50 I think it was, so XP isn't much use to me but freeroaming around with friends is always fun. This should also help for any trophy/achievement hunters who still haven't gotten to lvl 50 or passed into legend

Get the horses out of the stable! It's another triple XP weekend. I think I might actually partake on this one. God knows I need something different than getting my ass whipped from pillar to post on Black Ops.

By popular demand, this coming weekend, every Red Dead Redemption and Undead Nightmare multiplayer mode will yield you XP times three. It all begins tomorrow, Friday morning August 12th around 12:01AM Eastern (4:01am GMT) and doesn't end until Monday morning August 15th.

Make sure you're following us on Twitter where we often drop the first word or hint about such things. That is, if you're the sort of person who appreciates being among the first to know.

Release Date & Details on the Free Red Dead Redemption Myths and Mavericks Bonus Pack

Today, we're happy to announce that the previously announced FREE Red Dead Redemption Myths & Mavericks Bonus Pack will be available for download to everyone on PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE in less than two weeks, September 13th 2011.

This completely free Bonus Pack DLC is our token of appreciation for all the amazing Red Dead fans out there especially those who are keeping online multiplayer as busy and as fun as ever, (especially when we turn on the extra XP). Myths and Mavericks will include a whole bunch of new fan-favorite multiplayer characters from the single-player story, as well as new multiplayer locations including Cochinay, Nekoti Rock and Beecher's Hope, plus new Stronghold games in Armadillo, Tumbleweed, and Chuparosa. The full list of locations, modes and characters is below.
