Teenager's new name is fantastic

A teenager has changed his birth name by deed poll to incorporate several comic book superheroes.

George Garratt from Glastonbury has become Captain Fantastic Faster Than Superman Spiderman Batman Wolverine The Hulk And The Flash Combined.

The 19-year-old music student made the change "for a bit of a laugh", through a legally-recognised website.

He said: "I decided on a superheroes theme and whenever my friends offered up suggestions to me, I added them."

He added: "My family have begun to expect these sorts of things from me, and although my friends thought it was ridiculous most people do call me Captain and it's been a great conversation starter."

A spokesman from The Legal Deed Poll Service, said: "We get so many outrageous name changes that these days it barely fazes us, but when this one was brought to my attention I knew there was something special about it."

And what would your new legal name change be?

would you guys look down on me if i legally changed my name to Maximus, Master of the Universe?

you guys could still call Max for short, or in more formal settings, Mr. Universe would be fine

i was thinking of having Ninja be one of my middle names

so it would be:

Maximus, Master Ninja of the Universe

i wonder, can punctuation be part of your legal name?

like if timmy changed his legal first name to Timmy!!! and he could always specify there are 3 exclamation points at the end

I'm all for "Ninja! POOF!", but if Max wants to go by "Maximus, Master Ninja of the Universe", then I'll support that as well. At the end of the day, I'm sitting here thinking: "If we're in a match in MAG and I need resuscitation, how much time do I want to spend calling out for help?

"POOF! Help!"
or
"Master Ninja of the Universe! Help!"

I'm down with "POOF".
