Its definitely a great game, most likely a Game of The Year contender, but I just felt the story wasnt as strong as AA. And those damned Riddler trophies are pissing me off...

Ya the advanced AR training is kicking my ass.

Silent But Deadly!

I just finished the first playthrough 100%. The trophies were a bitch. I hate the Riddler. The AR training was a pain too, but I found the key was to just let off the R2 button and NOT touch the stick to come out of a dive bomb. In other words, dont pull on the stick to get out of it, Batman will level himself out more smoothly and not climb higher(which was my issue).
Now on to New Game +.....

I'm almost done i think I just finished the strange wonder tower part, ( trying to leave out spoilers)

Warner Bros. just announced the first piece of DLC for Batman: Arkham City. The Nightwing Bundle Pack will be available on the Playstation Network and Xbox LIVE on November 1 for 560 Microsoft Points or $7, which should give you ample time to finish up the game proper before checking out Nightwing.
Nightwing, a.k.a Dick Grayson, who used to be Robin, comes with his own fighting moves, unique gadgets and special maneuvers. He's playable in all challenge maps in the game, as well as two additional challenge maps that are included with the DLC: Wayne Manor and Main Hall. The pack also contains a bonus Animated Series Nightwing character skin.
Warner also said the Robin Bundle Pack is scheduled for release on November 22.

Words: Matt Bradford on November 28, 2011
Rocksteady is suiting up to release another batch of challenge maps for Batman: Arkham City which will see players WHAM!, ZOK!, and KAPOW! against crime in two villainous locales and one very secret vigilante hideout.
Confirmed for arrival on December 20, the DLC pack will include two challenge maps that were originally handed out as pre-order bonuses: the Iceberg Lounge map, wherein players brawl inside Penguin's swanky establishment; and Joker's Carnival, both of which follow the standard mode that challenges Batmen and Batwomen to rack up the biggest score possible by surviving hordes of enemies and building up a combat gauge for extra perks. In addition to previously released content, the pack will also contain a new Batcave challenge map, the complete details of which have yet to be released.
Judging by this and the recent Robin and Nightwing packs, Rocksteady appears to be focusing its DLC efforts on challenge maps, rather than actual game expansions. Not to say the new arenas and modes aren't interesting, just that a new side mission, story expansion, or any new reason at all to stalk Arkham City's streets would also be welcome.

Hi all,
We have had an amazing release of Batman: Arkham City and we wanted to thank you all for your incredible support before, during and after the game's release.
As a token to our appreciation, we'll be offering a brand new, totally super sweet, Batman Inc. Batsuit skin absolutely free!
You will be able to download the skin tomorrow from Xbox Live Marketplace, PlayStation Network and Games for Windows Marketplace. We'll be sure to let everyone know exactly when the skin are available.
We also know you want to deliver justice on the streets of Gotham as Batman in your favorite skin, any time and all the time. So using the below cheat, you can select any alternative Batman skin and play them in the main game, without having to complete the full game.
To unlock this, simply press the following combination on the Main Menu screen (after you have selected your save slot):
- Left, Left, Down, Down, Left, Left, Right, Up, Up, Down.
You will get an audio confirmation and when you continue your game, you will get the option to select your favorite skin.
Thank you again for your amazing support and have a great holiday!

Just picked it up can't wait to play it.
And not just character skins and such, that would make my day.
Am trying for 100% but New Game+ has me eating my controller in frustration.
So far the only DLC I've heard is more skins and challenge map stuff. I'm not coming back to AC until we get more campaign content.

April 23, 2012
When a few "Harley Quinn DLC" Trophies were added to Batman: Arkham City's roster, we assumed some new content starring the Joker's main squeeze was on its way. Today, Warner Bros. has confirmed Harley Quinn's Revenge, "the final chapter in Batman: Arkham City that adds more than two hours of original gameplay to the critically-acclaimed interactive title."
You can catch the briefest of brief glimpses of Harley Quinn's Revenge at the 1-minute 32-second mark in this new Batman: Arkham City Game of the Year Edition trailer. (CLICK LINK TO SEE EMBEDDED VIDEO)
The Harley Quinn's Revenge mission sends players back into Arkham City to face their final challenge as they interchange between playing as both Batman and Robin. Gamers must utilize each of the characters' unique combat and investigative skills to uncover Harley's vengeful plan and shut the gates on the urban mega-prison forever. In addition to experiencing a new storyline, fans can explore new environments and face-off against Harley's all new gang of thugs.

The news comes as part of Batman: Arkham City Game of the Year Edition announcement. Available May 29th in North America and in September for Europe and Australia, this console-only special edition will pack the game, all of the game's downloadable content (including different Batman skins), and a Batman Year One movie download from the PSN or Xbox Live Marketplace.

I finally started playing this again after barely skimming the surface. I remember why I loved Arkham Asylum. This game is just flat out fun.
I agree completely. I just played this and had a blast.
This has been random insights into what PlasticStingray thinks and feels on the topic at hand and is in no way intended to start fights/genocide/unicorn rebellions/children's tears etc.
