As I make a note to self, search the forums to see exactly how many times this has happened.

EA Faces Third 'Battlefield 4' Lawsuit; Analyst Suggests Franchise Is Tarnished

All I have to say is that after the disappointment I had with COD and this disappointment with BF4 I will need a lot of persuasion to buy another release from either of these franchises.

I have moved past these titles because all of the big promises seem to fizzle out into a disappointment. Plus I have found that there are many other games that are built with such a higher quality of gameplay, replay ability, and story in general.

EDIT: I hate when my phone sends the response before I am done.

I want Watch Dogs and Thief maybe Destiny. Would love to see a great Rainbow Six game sometime in the near future.

I guess I was one of the lucky few who's campaign never reset either. I still have my progress.

Yes they are VERY different games. I just recently started playing Ghosts on XB1…not really liking it so far…
Lol. You do remember some of your various facebook rants on BF4, right?

They seem to disagree with your response here.

yeah they were only temporary issues. I tend to go off easily. My main issue was getting booted out to the home screen for seemingly NO reason.

It must be different on pc but ive had a number of times where its taken multiple rounds to destroy different things. The best is when you back through a wall and it launches you through it all of a sudden. In BC2 it was allot more fluid with that sort of stuff.

How come?? It is two entirely different games, you play BF for more of an objective team game and COD is more run and gun by yourself game.. even tho both can be played as a team and as a single player most people that want objective team stuff buy BF and people that wanna run and gun solo by COD..... so i would try it again and change your mind set to a solo run and gun game , of course this is IMHO....... ; )

I'm moving more to this. I would be into ARMA and the mod Timmy tried to get me into if. It looks awesome and would be fun if I had the time to devote to it. Unfortunately I am unable to schedule gametime, I just am able to take it when I can. Youngest napping, with wife at the store and oldest occupied.

BF4 gives me the opportunity to play on large maps, with long 15min plus Conquest Large matches. Play 1 or 2 then pop out back to life.

    EDIT:
and yes Klawz, "Fanboyz". I think my use of "Fanboyz ITT" as a joke was lost in translation.

As my comment states on PSN; BF4 sucks moose dick. A lot of people who have seen this will say; well, why do you play it soooo much then? It's simple really, I spent my 60 bucks and I'll be damned if I don't get my money out of it. Whether it sucks moose dick or not. Much like a one legged prostitute... that bitch is gonna work.

I enjoy being able to have a clan of USMGers when platoons haven't even really been mentioned as of later from what I have noticed. Vehicles ARE over powered because if some jackass has his tanks or choppers maxed out he is nearly impossible to take down with a squad of randoms.
Then clearly you're going about it the wrong way. Choppers were actually much harder to take down in BF3 before they limited them to one set of flares. And tanks? Tanks are not a problem, unless they run away in which case they aren't hurting you. There are different ways to take them out, but air vehicles are quite easy to take down.

Plus, if someone is really good with a vehicle why should it be easy to take them out on your own? That's no fun.

Tried playing CoD today to see if my hate was justified. Freezing, server crashing, lag. I thought BF4 was messed up. CoD really is unplayable. Back to BF4 I go......

    ^^^

This, a crappy tank driver is really easy to take out. While a good one is much harder.
They have some very weak points, you just have to out THINK the other guy.

One of my favorites is to throw a mine behind one that is stationary, work my way around. Then throw a rocket at him from the front/side. 80% of the time they will back up over the mine to avoid more incoming fire. Instant kill.

As a whole, they can be very easy to kill. You just have to use cover effectivly, and place your shots on the weak spots.

Hey, I die all the time when I am in a tank, but then again I die all the time when I'm not in a a tank.

I like how you emphasized think. All I'm saying is the balance was much better on BF3. It was a far superior game than BF4.

This go around I would rather be frustrated with opponents then opponents and a broken game. You can't deny it has more issues than any other big title game... probably worse than. Defiance because of the expectations. The so called 'CoD-killer' has killed its own franchise.

I gotta say I've agreed with pretty much everything you've said so far. There's plenty of THOUGHT in the way I play COD.

I think we should follow the infinite wisdom of Ted Mosby at this point. Make a list!!!!

Major issues discussed on the forum for CoD:
    Strategy for clan wars.
    I don't like CoD because it's CoD and I don't like it.

Major issues discussed on the forum for BF4:
    Console freezes and crashes.
    Campaign resets
    Multiplayer resets
    Players being kicked from matches
    Lost XP.
New features that still haven't made it in, or have only been released on certain platforms.
A complete lack of party or clan support.

    Yeah, those are definitely comparable.....

I can add a few legitimate ones for CoD:
Terrible netcode (probably the worst I've ever played)
Lag switchers, which are not found in BF
    Overpowered killstreaks
    Ridiculous weapons/kills (I.e. throwing knives, akimbo pistols/smgs/shotguns)

Let the dead horse rest in peace

As a final olive branch between the CODers and the BFers here is the most accurate opinion I can give.

COD is infantry only with small to medium size maps and limited objectives--kill everyone, cap this flag then kill everyone or plant this bomb before everyone is killed. (majority of game modes encourage solo play more than team play).

BF is a mix of infantry and vehicle combat with large maps and various objectives--kill everyone or cap these points then move across the map killing everyone. (majority of game modes encourage team play more than solo play)

Both games your first 50-60 hours are horrible, but slowly you get some sense of the game and start having FUN. So why are you reading this? Go have fun its a new year.

Simply not true all the game modes in COD encourage team play. This evidenced by several of our W/L ratios skyrocketing because of playing in groups. Communicating and coordinating. If you ask any of us who play COD we would tell you we hate playing solo with randoms. We would much rather group up and play together. Why? Because we play as a team and we win. I'm sick of people who don't play COD or haven't for several installments comparing it to Battlefield and saying their is no strategy in COD.

Lag switchers? I've only ever seen one actual instance of someone lag switching in MW3. Haven't had any issues with that at all in Ghosts.

Overpowered killstreaks? Simply put they are not as OP as they were in say MW2. Maybe if you weren't always on the wrong end of them and actually had to control a Helo Pilot they wouldn't seem so OP.

Threw out a bunch of friends requests on XBL. Looking to play CoD in a group to see if I really do not enjoy it.
