No offense to blackwater guys but this looks like CRAP! I'd bet it's a nightmare waiting to happen with the controls... FAIL
With that being said, I did quite a few missions with blackwater, and they're (at least to me) arogant assholes who dont follow rules or RoE correctly. I even saw one of their vehicles get blown up right in front of me and 3 of them died. Maybe I'm an asshole, but I didnt feel too much remorse. I know I'm going to get some negative feedback from this, but it was just my personal experiance with them, and I can't change the way I feel/felt, and I'm not the one to sugar coat things.

I have to agree here. The whole kinetic this is a good idea for games, but not for shooters. I see misery in its future.

I got offered a job by these guys about 6 months after I ETS'd. I considered it, until when I asked the reason for my consideration, they're "recruiter" said they wanted a certain "type" of soldier, ones with prior service and certain behavioral pre-dispositions towards Iraqis. I turned him down.

LMAO, r they serious with this game? It isnt an issue to me that this game is based on BlackWater, the issue is the whole Kinect-You are the controller aspect of it. If I see a grown Ass Man, doing combat rolls in his living room, we can no longer be friends....LOL

talk about capitalizing on the name...since the name no longer exist.. now its XE with a million other smaller companys under them
have a couple of friend out here(afghan) that work for them....under corporate shell company's.. the only ones that get the big bucks are the armed security personal and the pilots.. my buddy is a crew chief and hes not making that much ,(while a another friend who is a pilot who make the big ducks)...that is compared to what he could make on other contract out here in the war zone.. but i do hear they have decent benefits

Wow, I'm surprised nobody attacked me for that comment LOL. We must all have been in the same military! HAHAHA!Glad to know I'm not the only one who thinks this will be a FAIL, as well as how much of a FAIL Black Water is/was... The only recruiting I got was from 5th group (SF) offering me $80k for only 4 years, tax free (signing bonus)! But I had to turn them down, cause my wife wanted me out. BOO! It was what I wanted to do, but eh... So, I went to the National Guard and trained up some guys as a section chief as a 13B, to get ready for a deployment. Only had to do a year and a half, and they doubled my time so that I finished my 8! Only shitty part is, I never got my E-6 cause I guess you need 2 years left in the guard to get it. BS.

This looks terrible, do they really think that calling it Blackwater will make it more appealing to anyone? I was under the impression that they are disliked by many, an impression that has only been reinforced by the above posts.

I always wondered how they would go about trying to implement shooters with the kinetic. It just looks so bad. The graphics are terrible and I am sure the controls suck. It actually reminds me of those old shooter arcades that have the two pistols attached to it, I think area 51 or something.

Honestly, the graphics didn't look that bad. And ignoring the blackwater name, it really doesn't look that bad as a game either. Definitely looks more fun than playing a fps with the Move controller.
And it's called a Kinect.

I got time crisis for the PS Move, and I'm sure that game is 100x better than this game will be LOL!

Accuracy! As well, it comes with 4 different game modes all with different story lines, as well as mini games! And of course the pirates game is EPIC! I'm not knocking the Xbox in any way, I'm just stating that the Move is a lot better for FPS than the Kinect. I'm sure Blackwater will also be a rail FPS, and if not, then they are in a whole lot of trouble, cause I doubt anyone will want to do high knees for hours. Originally Posted by jxspyder
