Yup...

...BUT (and this is going to sound so petty)...

...WTF did they do to the signature tail lights? I mean I know some stuff just has to change eventually, but I see no reason why they had to go with the Malibu like tails. Just because you're going in one specific direction with your tail light design language doesn't mean you have to make ALL of your cars adhere to it (especially not your "halo" base).

Aside from that, kudos to Chevy. Like the Vette really needed to get better at kicking ass....

I rather enjoy the new look of the tail lights. Sets the new generation from the old. Well, everything of the new corvette does but I think its great that they did. Makes it very futuristic looking

Good lord, have you seen the pics of the interior. It's amazing.
It love the looks of this thing way more than ANY other corvette...well almost... the 65 corvette stingray is a classic.

The '63 split window was my personal favorite, followed by the '93-95 ZR1 and the '96 Grand Sport. There are a shit ton of all those at the Woodward Dream Cruise every year. Can't wait for this year's....

The 63 ... first stingray, first year of pop up headlights, and the split rear window....all time classic!

I'm not exactly thrilled with the windows behind the doors. It makes the car look like a 4 seater. The nice thing about a vet is its a true sports car, 2 seats!!

Since you put it that way and please don't take this to offence but I'm going to go ahead and assume your knowledge when it comes to performace of vehicles is at all time low. I'm basing my comparison on each vehicle by the performance each vehicle has. Speed, traction, power, etc etc. For a vehicle that starts off at a base price of $50K, you can line it up with a car that prices at 100k and see the $100K car get beat. This goes for GT racing and drag racing. Don't get me wrong, Ferrari's and Lambo's are def top of the line cars but if I'm going to pay for performance, I'm going with the Vette. Plus the new Vette looks way more sexier than most newer Ferrari's and Lambo's. With the execption of the the Lambo I mentioned in the last post.

The first part was a joke. From Billy Madison. Second, no where did you say that price was an issue. I still wouldn't have the `vette. You think a good corvette will go for 50k? the ZR1 went for around 100. It could go, but it's interior was awful for the price. I'd rather have something else that could hold its own but still get you there in comfort and style. i.e. Ferrari. Heck, I'd have a Porsche before id have this `vette, but to each their own.

If I'm paying for the car, I'd take the C7 over a Lambo or Ferrari any day of the week.

Then again, I'd get a Ford GT before any of those, despite the fact it's slower and older. Ferrari and Lambo just don't "do it" for me anymore. Not that they aren't awesome, but just never been a Ferrari fan and I'm not at all a fan of Lambo's styling direction post-Diablo, nor the AWD system in a "supercar". But it's all just personal preference in the end.

This new Vette is an evolution and improvement of a car that is already an icon and can hang with the big boys all day, every day, for way less $$$, and get serviced for peanuts at your local Chevy dealer.

I'm surprised at just how hard they worked on the interior in this iteration though. I expected an improvement, but nothing that drastic. If nothing else, at least it shows they take user feedback seriously.

Same here the aventador is great looking, I have never really been a fan of the vette they always looked the same, but the same goes with Porsche. The only car other than this that I would get is the Cadillac CTS V, or maybe the new Nissan GTR. Other than that im sticking with the Camaro, great price and looks great.

If they think by buying a car for that much is the cool thing to do...than have at it but with the money he used to buy that car, he could have gotten a bugati (same price and way better car) or the new gtr (which is a fraction of what he paid for that corvette). To me he's a Moron and an Idiot for buy the car for that price. It's not like the car will hold value at the price he paid for it and he will NEVER get the money he paid for that car if he were to try and sell it or trade it in. That car will more than likely sit and go no where. Must be nice to have money to throw around. Especially that much
