Which is stupid cause on Xbox there is an achievement for owning a garage and a house and something else all at the same time.
most of the apts come with a garage i glitched my way to get my 400k apt and garage but all if you were to buy the apt with 6 car garage and have your car insured you get the achievement

I think they might have some what fixed the motorcycle glitch. You can sell it and keep it, but you have to wait an hour to do it again.

You can find the glitch on YouTube. Search for GTA 5 Online Adder glitch and it should come up. Basically you go online, switch you story mode, create new story mode, once the cut scene starts hit start to go back online, move your most expensive vehicle NEAR the customs shop, jack a random car, take it inside the customs shop and sell it ( don't confirm sale), hit start and go to Xbox game store, then back to online, you should spawn back in your vehicle (if not keep doing previous), once you spawn in your vehicle sell it in the shop (confirm that sale), hit start and go into the store, back out, rinse repeat the sale/store with your vehicle. God that was a lot to write....

My Adder was selling around $185k each time. Upgrade whatever vehicle you choose to make more money on the sale. I stopped at $5 mil in hopes that I don't get banned for glitching. So far my garage is full of 10 cars completely maxed out and painted the way I want. PS- lets not change our crew color for awhile, painting all of my cars over again would suck!

This whole game has got my panties in a bunch.
It's just that, Rockstar has always played the devils advocate. Never went the play to win style... And still made good good money! Are they just hurting after all the work they put in to the last Max Payne game? I don't know...
I tried to glitch for awhile, then got depressed after realizing that the glitch I had found had been patched immediately... Then got into a funk where I was trying to just play legitmately and see if I couldn't work to the top by playing mission after mission... and now im just staring at you guys with all the bloody money thinking maybe I should try it again!!! HAhaha!
It really really sucks that Rockstar is going the money hungry route this time. What's worse is they don't have the "money pack" DLC working anyway, so what does it all matter? lol

Definitely a lot of upset fans with the money issue but I think if you make a genuine classic game then you as the customer are at their beckoning will. It feels as though they did take the cheapskate way out but they will be making some much money off this game it's silly. I can only imagine what the next title Rockstar will put out and how epic it will be. Hopefully Red Dead Redemption 2 for next gen!:redface:

I tried playing the legit way for a good couple days. Then I realized how much ammo and medical bills cost! Honestly now that my apartment and garage are in order and the $4 mil have given me a great cushion to just enjoy the game. I don't have to get upset when we fail a mission or if some random guy kills me. Now I can just trick out my guns as they unlock and dump tons of money into ammo. Today would be a great time to glitch cause I thought after I glitched my first million I was good... Then I spent all of it and they patched the glitch! Right now I am good, just waiting till they get those heists into play.

My question would be, why money? If money is the goal in the game, then why sell money in the market place? If you're going to have an over abundance of money, then you have to have stuff for people to spend it on. At this point there isn't much, but hopefully in the future there will be. If you notice a lot of the mansions have for sale signs in front of them. Possibly more real estate in future, who knows.

Personally I'd rather have a mansion than an apartment. Still, there's no real point of a place to sleep other than having friends hang out and be safe off the streets. I think R* is not trying to make money the goal but rather making it difficult for people to earn money and levels to lengthen play time and keep people pushing for that next level. WoW has been very successful for the fact they have a player base that has been playing for almost the past decade. The harder it is the longer they stay.

They can't be making it difficult to earn money when you can buy shark cards once the market place is up an running.
You can't compare WoW and GTA online. WoW is a lot more complicated as far player roles are concerned. There's a hell of a lot more to do and earn. GTA is a 3rd person shooter converted to an mmo. Its more for casual players.
I honestly think this version of GTA online is a test. If its successful there will be a stand alone version(not free with GTA V) for the next gen consoles.

Agree for the most part. I think it'll be a significant while before you see a standalone online version, if ever. They're no where near ready for that development wise.

I think there would be a lot less glitching if we had difficult yet high paying missions.

Disagree with that. MMO's are supposed to be progressive content. You should be doing lower paying missions and getting lower rewards while at lower levels. I don't think low paying missions are supposed to drive you towards paying gor shark cards, they just give you an option to bypass the grind.
If anything, I don't think they were ready for the number of people glitching and/or grinding out content this fast.
I do kind of hope they pull a Valve in regards to glitchers, though.

I agree it does take away from game play and that's why I disagree with the shark cards all together. I am interested in seeing how much the "exchange rate" will be. Still not going to buy them I just find it funny that the best point in time to milk money from the online game would be from the release and they have missed that greatly.

$1.25m for $22 cash, I believe is the exchange. Thats the most expensive card you can get.

Usually, assuming GTA V supports this properly, as long as it is a .png file that has the transparent background it will show up properly. A little work in PS and that can be taken care of. I would take care of it for you, but my laptop died and I haven't loaded PS onto my personal PC yet.
Anyway, I am looking for people to play Online with on PSN. Add me if you are not already on my Friends List. ;)

On your PC, right click on the background click inspect element and delete the code for the background color. Then it's transparent. Also, I don't think it's as simply as putting a png pic on there. Check out the video I put up, that's how I did it. Funny, my PC keeps crashing on me too... time for a new one.

I posted the emblem, but with the skulls being white it was deleted with the white background. If I can change the white in the pic to be an off white I can probably save the image correctly. I will try again tonight.

Xbox players, for a limited time only I am upgrading vehicles for free! Requirements- vehicle cannot be tagged or insured by your player. Bring me a vehicle that you have stolen off the street (must be a vehicle that isn't too hot for Los Customs) and let me drive it inside for upgrades. Once I return the vehicle to you, you must drive it back into the custom shop to tag and insure it. Do not drive it back to your garage before that!!

I haven't heard of anyone I know being punished for glitching. I have glitched about $6M and bought everything I can for a lvl 65. I also haven't tried glitching since the patch just Incase they do flag me for it, but really there is no point since I have everything I need. I love the fact we don't lose that $2k per death now.

If that's true then I call bullshit... Rockstar said that both the stimulus cash and heists should be out within one to two weeks of them being announced

I believe the logic behind the November estimate is because Rockstar has promised the stimulus bonus to anyone who has played or will play GTA Online during the month of October, so it seems easiest for them to make October 31st the cut off and send the bonus to all players active at that date. You are correct though, Rockstar did say it could start rolling out "...as early as next week". They did, however, make sure to not put a date on it so they can drag their feet as long as they'd like and still claim honesty by technicality

Aw man, you guys are leaving just as I am getting into it... hahaha Personally, like a lot of you guys play COD for hours on end, GTA is my game. I never did much online with 4 but I just always loved the no pressure run around do whatever. Much of why I loved SA so so so much.
Anyways, I have to say, I played with one of our crew members... For the life of me, cant remember his gamer tag, and ive seen him on the boards before but... USMCsomething. I know it was USMC. anyways, we got into a bunch of races and I had never played the races, had a blast. Please don't hate me, but it is GTA. When the race started I caught up to USMC, and spun him out by tapping his back tire with my car LOL he still won but I was rolling and laughing. even when I lost I got okay money for a 1 - 2 minute mission.
But I have to say, air races are NOT for me... Just like Battlefield 3, I just cant comprehend the controls for some reason. When my craft goes upside down my brain just craps itself. lol So yeah, im a bad sport when it comes to air missions and will probably duck out if we get voted into one. Just something I had to say, because I did it to USMC the other day and felt bad. I was just doing so bad and I couldnt even finish the race.

Its all about which plane you use. You can't use the jet for some of those, even though its the fastest.

The best way to get in is to start a mission, then go to the back of the base and jump the fence from the hills back there. You won't get any stars and can take your time doing whatever you want. Just don't kill anyone.

I can get the jets I keep trying to yank the dude out of the tanks and snag them. I get him out but I get shot from another guy or another tank shell....ouch..lol. Any tips on getting a tank??

Here's your daily knowledge. The killing theme for Jason is "kikikikimamamama" which translates to "killkillkillkillmamamama". It's suppose to mean "Kill for mother Jason" which you do hear in the movie. Unfortunately when they did the sound it came out sounding like something else. I love horror movies so I know random facts about them.

Just sent in my goodbye letter to R*. Here's what I sent..
First off I would like to thank you for creating such an amazing game. I have enjoyed all of your GTA games for the freedom to do pretty much anything I wanted. With that I would like to discuss your "bad sport" addition. I would like to point out you put out a game named Grand Theft Auto not Grand Theft Play Nice With Each Other. A game where you steal cars, murder police to gain the highest wanted level possible to kill more, run over pedestrians, light things and people on fire, and finally buy a hooker and then kill her for your money back. Now I understand that players in free mode hate to be ganged up on and trolled over and over again, but when you give us options like grenades, sticky bombs, tanks, and fighter aircrafts what is it you expect us to do? On top of that you added a bounty feature that makes players specifically target one person. Now I have no problem with any of that at all, but to label me a bad sport because I am a good shot with a sticky bomb driving down the road as fast as possible and blow up a personal vehicle that has three armed people raining bullets down on me does not make sense. True I can file a report on the players but destroying someone's vehicle is an automatic bad sport reported action. Best of all I am the one who pays for his brand new vehicle! Your logic is wrong and this needs to change. My 2 days on the bad sport server has lead me to follow another game that just came out. It's called Battlefield 4, you might have heard of it, so in closing thank you for no longer allowing me to play with my friends on your game only to allow me to spend time with them on another game. Poor timing R* goodbye.

I was so disappointed in this game. I can still put GTA IV in and have fun to this day, but have no desire to play GTA V after finishing the story. Being totally honest, I honestly couldn't tell you why I even feel this way.

Agreed with Kant. Enjoyed the story, having about the same amount of fun in the game itself as with 4, but I've never really enjoyed multi, this one was okay with groups, but kinda blah overall

As pissed as I was for being labeled a bad sport on 360 I am kind of excited for the next gen release. Mainly because I can pick up where I left off on 360. However I am wondering how many USMG members will be playing. Its a fun game, but I would rather play with you guys online than solo. Also did they ever include heists in the game??

I started playing it again for the first time in 8 months. Considerable additions to me are some new cars and you can now own 2 apartments or 2 garages or 1 of each. That makes for 20 vehicles max. There have been some new weapons added as well, but nothing to crazy in my opinion. I'm still going to get it for X1

Time: We usually get on between 1900 and 2000 (Romeo time zone - EST) daily. It depends if we ate our oatmeal and Nurse Ratched is out of the room. We play until we fall asleep at the controllers, or whenever they do a bed check. (Usually 2400 -0100 EST).
Gametags: You have mine, because I am posting this, but I may ignore new requests for 'friends' (something to do with my medicine makes me paranoid....lol).
