Well, usually I'll game with the clan but sometimes I just like to play with my other buddies. Also, sometimes when we get a large group, my connection will lag more because there are so many different ping levels and I have a moderate NAT.

Absolutely. I just got done playing BF3 with some fellow USMGers, but we had some of their friends on too at different times and it was great. As long as they play the game the way it's meant to be played, I have no problem playing with them. We won 11 of 13 games on the night sporting the [USMG] tag, so the clan is being represented on the 360 side of BF3 as well.

WHAT ARE CLAN OPERATIONS?

Clan operations are similar to lone wolf operations in that they score premium players for certain stats in certain game modes for specific amounts of time. Operations can range from “Most Team Deathmatch Kills” to “Most Captures in Domination,” and award real prizes and ELITE badges.

The two key differences between clan operations and lone wolf operations are that clan operations score members of clans instead of independent players, and clan operations award Clan XP.

HOW DO CLAN OPERATIONS WORK?

To participate in a clan operation, you need to be a premium member of a clan and your clan’s leader must enlist your clan before the operation has started. If you are a free ELITE member, you can still play alongside your clan mates during operations, but only premium members are scored when determining your clan's ranking.

Only your clan leader may enlist your clan in operations, so if you see an operation you want to participate in, make sure you suggest it to your clan leader from that operation’s page.

Once your clan is enlisted in an operation and the operation has begun, you and your clan mates must try to get the highest total or highest average for whatever stat is being scored before the operation ends.

To keep clan operations fair, your clan’s score in clan operations will be a total (or average) of the top six highest scoring members of your clan. This way clans small, large, and in between will all be on an even playing field as far as scoring is concerned.


WHAT CAN MY CLAN WIN?

Clan operations award clans that finish in the bronze tier or higher. Bronze requirements may change from op to op, but generally if your clan finishes in the upper half of an operation, it will be rewarded.

These rewards include badges that are displayed in your clan’s showcase and Clan XP. If your clan wins a champion badge in a prized operation, the players that finished in the top six of your clan for that operation will receive real prizes.

Remember that only your clan receives a badge for performing well in operations, not each individual clan member. Your clan showcase is designed to let other users know how legit your clan is by promoting your accomplishments together.

Either way, the clan XP better take in to account more than the top 6.

IMO more cuts should made to accommodate new hungry players. We're getting away from the criteria we originally stated to maintain Elite roster spots. There are guys doing it the RIGHT WAY by posting in the On Leave section and participating here and ingame yet we've given the benefit of the doubt to quite a few. We're doing a disservice to them. I've made excuses due my ignorance of branch obligations. Army and Marines go to the field. Navy and USCG go on ship duty. That was dumb on my part but I'd hate to kick guys for shit like that. Well, the very least they can do is drop a line here. Hate to say it. Remember, we were around as a clan before MW3 and would have done this Elite thing with or without you. You sought us out. You applied to join a clan. It is incumbent upon YOU to remain in good standing. Clan Ops are almost here and we're on the goal line. We can easily cut 20 guys WH. No joke. We've got probationary guys not making an effort to know clanmates, no one pestering dbg for sigs, and the same folks here discussing the game. I do agree with you to a certain extent but some members play certain games outside of MWF3. MWF3 is all I play and I'm sure those members who play BF3 will say the same as you. Unfortunately you can't make a person buy a game to be a member (could change thought but its not a requirement), because that person may not have what it takes to play in one video game compared to another. All I know is, I'm good at playing MWF3 but I am jacked up from the floor when it comes to battling it out in BF3.

Yeah, I just took a look at the Elite Clan and counted it up. I can only remember playing with 22 of the clan on MW3, plus another 5 on Battlefield. Granted, I haven't been on MW3 as much lately, splitting my time between MW3 and BF3, but most of them I've never heard of. A couple I've seen on the forums, but well over 50% I've never seen ever.

This is a something to be considered. I love MW3 as much as you guys but I do get burnt out on it from time to time and switch to other games for a few days. Some just take a break longer than others I guess.

I feel like I hardly have time to play these days with a 2 yr old and a 4 month old but I always try to play with the clan when I can. I don't often get large chunks of time to play like I used to so its hard to roll in big groups cause it takes so much time and sometimes I can only play for 20-30 min. That being said when I do get to play its always the same people, I looked at the clan roster and i've never played with over half of them. I know i'm pretty new here but its pretty obvious some are just here for the cool tag and hoping to get some double XP time.

In all honesty.. might sound shallow but I run with a pretty much select group from the clan not to sound judgmental but we are all grown ass adults and we tend to run with a select click already... some people send me 15+ freakin' invites when I'm on Hulu or some shit and get upset when I don't play... Plus people always mess up the fun when they invite the 7th person and then we have to play groundwar... it's just a pain in the ass. I get on COD to kill people not wait in the lobbies for 10 days. So some clanmates need to understand that... sorry off topic... just had to get that off the chest.

On other notes, Subsonicbox can be kicked if you like he's got a shit ton of TDY's coming up I believe plus he's not really active at all.. I think Batnob should be let in because he's active in the forums and online...

There are a lot of good points made in here. I sucks when the group is so big our takes 5 min to get into each match, plus there are def guys that you know you play well with/play the same game type you like. I'll play just about anything but if there's more than 6 people and you aren't playing ground war it sucks ass.

I only really play on my weekends. With a 3 year old and a new baby on the way, plus me being on day shift now, I don't play like I used to. If you see me on netflix it's me hanging out with the family. I don't have cable at home so netflix is our source of entertainment. I will try to get on a bit more but some days I would rather just play Madden. I'll get on sometimes and no one invites me or even when I invite from the clan list no one accepts. Don't like playing with randoms anymore.

If you enjoy playing with the same clanmates because you gel and there's a rapport already, no prob. I know you have guys you've referred from your shop/base. However, 5-6 guys are not always on at the same time like the Voltron force. Over time guys have been on independently and do not send out or accept invites. Aside from playing by their lonesome, they don't even post here or on the clan feed which can be grounds for being cut. If this is how they do it, for all intents and purposes, that's a clan in and of itself.

Congrats on the promotion. Hopefully there's more money to go along with that new position. I've made some changes already:

1. Clan feed is public once more: Yes it's inundated with spam and noobs. However, there may be a diamond in the rough and the feed can guide them here. If you want privacy and C.O.I.N. as Jump called it, you have it right here in our forum area.

2. Another round of cuts: Almost 20 were cut just now. From the feed:
Inactive members were cut today. These guys are still apart of the clan. They're just cut from Elite. Were mistakes made? Maybe. If so, get to the same site you applied at and say something. You were most likely cut for game and forum inactivity. That's right. Some of your clanmates don't even know who you are and have never played a match with you.

I'm giving cut members a very short window to post here about wanting back into the fold before I recruit replacements or fill spots. I WILL NOT respond to whining PMs here or on Live. I'll just delete or block.

3. Batknob was invited.

There will be another round of cuts soon and it'll be just as significant. Doesn't matter who you are or how good you are. Quite a few members are on the bubble. I'm not just exerting control and being a dick. This is an issue that really bugs alot of you and you've been heard. You play, you post, you interact with clanmates, you drop a line when you'll be away. Hopefully this is the kind of action you were looking for. We'll move on and we'll get members who want to be apart of our small community. OK, I'm going to sleep.

I think since there is a limitation for clan list and to keep order sometimes feathers must be ruffled, guys who are prior service should understand this process. Having gone thru some selection processes in the Army I think your doing a great job and I hope to move up to the waiting list soon.

It's not about spamming invites while I'm on MW3, because most of the time people just want to hop in with us but we generally don't run ground war... sorry about that. But when someone isn't on MW3, they aren't on MW3 for a reason and an invite is generally not going to sway that decision. COD gets old as we all know so I think it should be at least common courtesy that if someone is on another game to let them be and if they want to join up with you they can join when they see you log in... Just gets annoying when 6 people per lobby times however many clanmates are on definitely starts to add up. I understand where you are coming from though Pak! Just trying to keep people from blowing up on fellow clan members for persistence when they just want to play.

Varies from op to op, but usually there's a certain amount for the winning clan, then lower amounts from the top 10%, 25%, and 50%/55%

Since we got gold in all three events last weekend, it should be about 1k each (so 3k). As far as when we get it..they have to review the top teams and insure no boosting/cheating/glitching happened. After that we should get it. The website says something like up to 7 days.

So quick question, and I have asked before, but I still cannot get into games with many clan members. I did the clan ops with some guys and played one day last week with a few USMG, but what protocols are there to join other elites, I find it rude to push myself into their party or game, but I guess I can do that, I am just used to clans that aren't cliquish and that invite the new guys into the fold. I do understand competitiveness and selective team creation, from when I was on a competitive team( before they were clans ) for rainbow six and ghost recon on the original Xbox. If I were doing PS3 BF3 I get invites pretty quick, but never on MW3.

Now that I'm proof reading this, it seems needy, but I bought a 2nd copy of this game and elite for 360 to play with clan members.

Wait..are you saying no one hits you with invites? Are people on when you are? Seems slightly odd to me because with the exception of clan ops there seems to usually be groups going. Could be wrong though. Best solution is to go to clan list and invite anyone playing mw3 once. If they have room they will invite you when they are done with that game and if they are solo they will prob join. Hope this helps.

Find a weapon you seem to like that is unlocked mid-end of the levels. Make sure it's a weapon you appreciate (enjoy the visual and performance factors) then on your prestige you can make a few different classes with it and test it's versatility. This is how I got my M60 gold so quick. Plus the fact that it's a one shot kill in most situations on hardcore. I can sit in a crowded hallway and just spray for multikills lol

on my first prestige i did the dumb thing of unlocking a gun next time i think i will unlock better equipment or maybe a perk someone told i should've used the double xp but i didn't think it was a good idea because it only last for 2hours and you don't choose when to activate it.

Yes you do get to keep the weapon you choose throughout all prestiege levels.The second I hit first prestiege I selected the ACR 6.8, Blind Eye, Assassin and Dead Silence and they have been with me ever since. Now I'm just waiting for the level 5 prestiege title and icon pack.

The first page that pops up should have a notification block for invites just click 'accept' and you should be good to go.

Elite runs like garbage it's one of the most poorly ran systems in the world. Your front page after you login scroll down a bit to the 'elite feed' after that it'll say 'feed' 'notifications' 'invites' and 'system'. Your looking for invites to say +1

Haha no prob with that one you just have to go to your profile on here. The Wolverine signature I got was made by Chet the Jett definitely has mad skills and db makes alot of the other clan's signatures but those you can't get til your a full-fledged member on here which takes a month after your probationary period. Just put something witty in there like 'NEW YORK TEBOW TOWN' lol

Side note: If you bad mouth fellow clan-mates demanding that they do certain things, try ordering people around constantly, rage, and or hop in lobby against fellow clan mates, or even get mad cause your doing these things and get booted and don't know why cause you obviously aren't active in the forums, expect to be booted from my party. I can't speak for the clan but I can speak for my party. Some people need to chill out and realize it's a damn game and if you rub people the wrong way no one will want to play with you.

Well, I constantly "make recommendations" because talking helps me perform better and I wanna bring out the best in my teammates. Reminding guys the little things make a difference. Here's what guys constantly hear me say:

1. Pick up vests
2. Don't run into a place where your tag is out of reach of a teammate
3. Hold down side X of a map
4. If were holding a good side, don't flood the opposite side a flip the spawns

Hopefully this keeps guys from going negative.
