So far we have 58 members with 15,500 XP which puts us at level 20. We have spots for 42 members before we reach the max of 100. I found a level 30 clan which revealed the XP needed to get there. We would need 15,661 to reach the total of 31,161 XP. Without clan ops in the picture, that's 32 founders needed.

That's right, however, we have never turned any military member away or made this a necessity. This is just how the chips fell and what's needed to get the next clan perk(New title and 6 hours 2x XP).

The way things have been going with Elite, who knows? Supposedly, Elite is supposed to be "fully functional" by 1 Jan, but it's anyone's guess as to whether clan ops is included in that.

I'm hoping it starts in Jan. Hopefully ssome sweet DLC will drop too to make my Premium membership worth it. Oh and you can only "Participate" in clan ops if you are a founder. You can still play with clan members during the op, but only the premium guys scores will count. And eventually there will be clan achievements that will give xp. Not just clan ops.

If you become a premium now you don't get the XP to use. and as the post before mine states that xp will come from clan ops when that starts. I think the best encouragement right now to upgrade is that you will get the DLC when it comes out. I do believe that is just on the maps though. I am a premium not a founder.

It means those that have bought the Hardened addition and came with a code and those that paid for it before Dec 13th. They get an extra camo for weapons, a special group they can join, 500 xp to use towards clan rank and a few other things. I don't remember them all but not a huge difference from premium

HOW DO CLAN OPERATIONS WORK?

To participate in a clan operation, you need to be a PREMIUM MEMBER of a clan and your clan’s leader must enlist your clan before the operation has started. If you are a free Elite member, you can still play along side your clan mates in MW3 during operations, but we only score the premium members of your clan.




My wife said she is going to give me a premium Elite membership for christmas, but also has said that she wants to wait until after the DewXP contest occurs on new years to see if I happen to win a premium membership first. (Ya right!)

Either way, once I get premium by years end, I will be able to help raise the level of the clan.

Yep. I got an extra month too. I believe those operations are individual only.

Yep, would appear to be across the board.

The current ops are individual only. Clan ops will come later, and I'm pretty sure Pak is the only one who can instigate them.

I would have to say I cannot wait for Clan ops. It will bring more from the clan and we will be able to practice a thing or two. I will be on when leave is over January 3rd. Yeah I mean there is stuff about it that I enjoy don't get me wrong. I would put so much time into it if I didn't truly enjoy the game but the maps are not nearly as memorable as MW, MW2 or even some of the treyarch ones.

The aforementioned are a few of our rules and I have to preface my post with it before giving you this latest update to quell any rumors and put you all at ease. There's been a few departures and an issue affecting us all so I thought I'd address it here since it applies and arose from MW3. Many of you are new members are new here and may think I lord over this clan when in reality, that's far from the case. We're all adults and leaders here and since our inception , I've always sought the advice and input of fellow members. Any old timer here can attest to that. We have a USMG Council that makes all the hard decisions for the clan as a whole. There's alot of deliberation and discussion behind the scenes in a section of the forum that is invisible to all but some. Post go back and forth and votes are tallied to make decisions.

OK. Departures. SquirrelEyez left to join his cousin's clan. Since there were 99 spots filled, he skedaddled to accept. This is viewed as clan hopping. He's free to come back and reapply in the future. No muss, no fuss.

Now to the main topic. We've had Joe Recca and Angel007 banned for boosting,cheating etc. Both had their accounts reset leaving 10K deaths and 1K losses on their stat sheets as the IW mark of Cain for token glitching. I'm no sleuth and did not arrive at this conclusion on my own. IW made their ruling so any beef is between them, IW and ceiling cat since only he knows what truly went down. The evidence of cheating was brought before the council and a unanimous decision was made. I don't have to preach integrity. Our clan has always made a stand when it comes to this topic. A member recently said he'd rather have bannings ensue with us being left with only 10 members than have a group of cheaters. This is the way things have always been. As it stands, Joe Recca has admitted to what he's done if you go by his Live profile bio. Angel claims he was negatively affected by a glitch that arise from 10th prestigers using their token to reset their stats. It doesn't matter what I think or what they say. We've had Joe Recca and Angel007 banned for boosting,cheating etc. Both had their accounts reset leaving 10K deaths and 1K losses on their stat sheets as the IW mark of Cain for token glitching.

I know this was directed towards pak. I just looked at your account on Elite and it says that you joined on the 13th. Now I don't know if that was your time or my time AST Kuwait. What I would suggest is to send an email to actavision and explain to them your situation. I thought the deadline was the 13th. Now all this goes if you were a premium since then. If you got the free account and then later got the premium then you are out of luck but if you got the premium on the 13th I would email them.

My idea on this would be to have some one that is in the current clan be able to head this up. With the incentive of being able to move to the current clan when we level up and get the double xp use the xp and move bake to the new clan. Allowing this until the new clan is set up to a certain level.

I think its going to be hard to get a second clan going with enough premium members in it to rank up like the current one has. When clan ops start the only ones that get you xp towards the clan are premium. Just a couple thoughts.

I think maintaining one unit would be the best for the clan. Once clan ops get going, inactive members should be removed to make way for more members that would contribute to the state of the clan. That should free up some spots and provide initiative to maintain activity in the clan.

If there were a second clan I don't think the leader can leave without dis banning the clan..and I think a second one would be too much now. We still have to get to know all of the members. What you could do is when an application is put in on the site, send them an elite invite after their 30 days, so you know they are an active member and dedicated member, And if there are no more spots open on main clan and we get backed then a secondary would then actually be needed.

I like this idea. I was just talking to some guys last night about not knowing a lot of people in our clan. I hate when there are like 15 people playing different games and we will try to get a team together and no one accepts the invite. Seems every time we play as a clan its the same people playing together

Hey Pakman,

I just got off the line with Activision and Microsoft and they're trying to work out the issue with my founder status (this is some pretty epic BS). Microsoft said they process transactions in GMT which is 8hrs ahead of PST where I live. It processed locally before the founder deadline but in GMT it didn't process until 6am on the 13th (WTF I thought we lived in the USA???). If they ever get it straightened out I'll have to leave the clan then get back in for the clan to get the 500xp. I'll let you know what they come up with.

We have a team that verifies. Recruiting via lone wolf or group feeds is easy. I only ask for help when a game has an actual forum so we can have a show of force with our clan sigs to show we're serious. The only game on the horizon is the new Ghost Recon.

We can never get enough people for Ground wars, when we do the server takes years to find people to compete against. Should we maintain an "on-deck" roster on the site of possible people and if they remain active on the site etc. allow them to be selected first for elite should we lose members?

1. If we have a full squad, you helping scrubs can jeopardize a win, hurt K/Ds, killstreaks or whatever else guys are trying to achieve

2. You can hurt a win streak

3. You have no clue of what kind of shit talking transpired and now we look like a squad of idiots with a teammate helping them win

He's going to take it to his boss and see if they can update my account to founder. You can't say never if it's just you who haven't played with someone. I have only played with about 25 of our members and consistently play with about 15 of them. We are all in different timezones and on different schedules so while you nor I might not have played with someone doesn't me they don't play with other members.

I would concur with this, I am in the same sitrep here I have played with about 20 or so but there are about 10 I consistantly see on teams I am in... I will also add that I am getting to know some of you guys on a personal level within the game and can anticipate your moves and strategy makes the game more enjoyable and victory easier!!!

After having a long talk with Pak this morning, he is disbanding Bravo team. We are NOT getting the right Recruits in there. They all want something for nothing. When they find out that they don't get all the double XP and stuff, they leave. I say fuck them! Just my opinion. Now for those that want to join and don't mind starting from nothing, let them in! That's why I'm making this post. We are 100 strong on Alpha. BUT, only 15 to 25 play together at most times. I DO understand that work, time zones, and life happens, but the leaves around 75 other people in the Elite Clan that either I don't know or play with. So, I'm starting a new rule. Play with the Clan or you will get Booted from Elite to make room for those that want to play with the Clan! Call it dropping the Hammer (no pun intended) or whatever. If you want to join the Elite Clan just to get all the extras, then DO NOT bother wasting MY time or Paks!! We spend ALOT of time getting Recruits through to get them verified. If somebody else wants to step up and TRY to lead a new Bravo team, contact Pak. He will tell you how to do it. To that person good luck. Everybody else, Semper Fi!!

What many of you don't see or hear about occurs behind the scenes. I get a shit ton of messages, voice msgs, and friend requests of people wanting to join the clan. Everyday and sometimes midgame this occurs. Now, many folks only want to join because of how far we've progressed, clan perks and roster. Do you know how many times guys ask about getting our "cool title"? Once guys were hearing that they'd start with nothing on Bravo, they didn't wanna stick with us or even register/apply here. With Clan Ops coming soon, COD players are frantically trying to find an established clan to piggy back on and I guess our 2nd roster was unappealing. Without clan XP, there was nothing to hold people. There's no motivation either. I can't get some applicants to even join us ingame or get verified. Right now, there are people applying and once they figure out their not getting into our Elite clan anytime soon, we won't hear from the again. I hope they read this first. The writing was on the wall that it would fail so with only 4 members in and no XP anchor, I decided it was best to disband it. We'll be making cuts of inactive players soon and those who stick with us will be rewarded with a spot.

I get on when I can but my main playing time is on my weekends. I work a 6 and 3. Need to be at work by 0530 most days so I go to bed around 2100 most nights and I have family time with the family so that leaves me with little time on any games.

That's why I made my little speech. With that said, like Pak said, I wasn't going after any of us on the Alpha roster or us old timers here like Indy, etc. I understand "life" happens and work and stuff. What I was implying is the new guys that we have recruited that somehow nobody knows. For example, we are 100 strong on Alpha, BUT, I personally only play with the same, let's say 15 to 25 members. And when I check friend requests, they haven't been on for days at a time. Like I said, I understand that life happens. If you are going to be away for an extended period of time, that's what the On Leave section is for. Or personally send me or Pak a message. If you usually don't play MW3 alot and just got the Elite so you can play and get the extras when YOU want to play, that's not acceptable. Please let someone know because you need to be removed from the Elite side so we can make room for those that WANT to play MW3 with the Clan. But, to be honest, between my wife and kids, having to play other games for assignments, and trying to squeeze in some time by myself to write on my novels, I just don't have much time to devote to games that aren't work related.

I love getting drunk and talking about old military related stuff. It's awesome and most of the time pretty funny.

Anyway, last night's, friday's, matches were pretty awesome. We had 3-4 guys squad up and start a game, then had everyone else jump in the lobby. Think at one point we ended up with 10 USMG guys on the two teams duking it out. Was good times, except for ol' drop shot being a halo jumping douche-nozzle. ;)

Only reason I brought up Dogbreath, is that he pretty much never accepts an invite from any of us who send him one, and has multiple times now apparently changed his tag to offline mode in order to not get invites sent...while still being online. I don't think just kicking him is the answer, but possibly finding out if he joined the clan to game with the clan, or to get a couple of perks from the clan while never participating in it.

What's up?? Got to play with a small group a couple days ago With ArmedLeprechaun and a couple others.. I'm out processing my base this month and with the family and everything I've been hard pressed to get in more than 4 games at a time in! I am on leave all of March, so definitely expect to see me and get multiple invites when I'm on..

Then in April I will be headed overseas for 15 months working some pretty odd hours that change every 2 days... I will do my best to get on and play as I'm bringing my Xbox with me, but can't make any promises it would be more than once a week ish.

I highly agree Frwd, this clan since day one has felt like a family to me, two seconds after getting an invite to elite I was invited to a game session with pakman3000 and four other members (Ssg bretado, spydr, and a few others I can't remember off the top of my head sorry), my thoughts exactly were *now this is the kinda family I was looking for* and I stayed up, what was way to late! I know that I haven't been around much lately. I am going through some rough times here in Kuwait (I thought it was easy here). My command thinks that every one needs to get into trouble for some stupid shit. I am currently battling the worst NCOER I have ever seen in my life (4 needs improvements and all nos in the army values)!! I'm using an Avermedia capture box to record all the clips you guys are uploading to your MW3 vault(yes I can see them). Then I transfer the recordings to an external HD and convert the files on my Mac. Then I use iMovie to edit and compile them into montages and upload to youtube in HD. May sound like alot of work.....cause it is. Totally worth it though!

This goes severely against our charter. Something I have been asked to respect and uphold.

In your video alone i could not find any members outside ReconB4 and LMOR Pestilence that are signed up on the forums or active...What is going on here?

You know what ALOT of guys in the Elite clan don't post here, however, they do play. You may have the righteous indignation thing going, but you gotta realize that it goes both ways which is why you lost your spot in the Elite side. Maybe they lurk, who knows. It's something we can work on with them. I much rather have these guys play more and play alongside clanmates consistently than ding them for not posting. Warhammer is in agreement with me and cut 8 guys last night with more to come. You're not online or in the parties as we discuss this very issue. Inactive players are getting on COD and finding they lost their title, tag etc. Ease up and this could have been put in the executive forum rather than wage a public lynching on one guy. C'mon. As I said before: I got this!

I lost my spot? lol thats cool cuz i dont play MW3 all that often and even when i do im not to serious about it. Im happy staying at level 19 or whatever im at now and just blowing shit up even if it means myself in game. Im not on a self righteous kick here but the charter that i as a council member states clearly you must be active in game and on the site does it not? I believe you yourself came up with those provisions or contributed to them? Our site is getting out of control and Id rather see people who are active here reap the benfits in game.

everyone just relax, please remember we are a non-serious gaming community, no in-fighting we all passed school with a go in play well with others, some of these guys live in a barracks, i know from talking to them, some might not have computers and have to go to some where to access the net (remember I have no clue how thing are now, we did not have computers, cellphones, cable TV, hell first 2 1/2 years lived in open squad bay) I get this from talking to these guys when playing. Just wanted to say....I try and accept every invite I receive from you guys. Sometimes I can't. The other issue is I'm a late night, early morning gamer as of right now. Due to being unemployed. lol. So I'm not always on when most of the clan is. I'm really enjoying being a part of this family and if I'm not meeting requirements, I would appreciate a heads up, if possible, before being kicked off of the elite clan. I thoroughly enjoy being able to game with someone with similar interests and background every time I sign on. Again, so far, I'm loving it. And I intend to make myself available for any of the clans needs. Like I said, I have a lot of free time so I'm volunteering myself for whatever the clan may need. lol. I'd be interested in helping with the newsletter or anything along those lines.

Also, I'm super impressed with the vids you guys are putting together. I did a bunch of those for my old platoon, mostly of our deployment but a lot of training vids as well. I wish I had a capture card so I could make some of our in-game action. I use Adobe Premiere most of the time. Which is overkill for something like this.

Anyhow just wanted to thank you guys again for the acceptance.

Im with Recon, sometimes I cant accept invites because I have to finish the game im on and leave, or sometimes even leave right away. Rather than a set number of matches, I have set times... I guess like all of us, but I just feel like whenever I dont accept invites or have to leave when ya'll join my game, like im a horrible person LOL

Anyways I'll keep trying to stay with you guys. I work nights so im on in the mornings, and on my days off... well that just varies like crazy lol

It's all good! Pak works nights also. And then plays with us in a few rounds when he gets off. That's usually when I'm going to work! Lol! Anywho, for the rest of those that feel that they are not up to par with playing with us, and you get booted from the Elite, DO NOT worry. You can still fly the USMG clan tag! This mainly goes for alot of people that are worried about the upcoming soon cuts from the Elite side of the Clan. Once again, if you are cut from the Elite side, but still play games like BF3, you can still fly the USMG tag AND you ARE NOT kicked from this Clan! I hope this clears some things up with some people! Semper Fi!!

Damn lol. This looks to be under hand, Pak and Warhammer are doing their thing so I'm not worried. Though, I understand the need to have them socialize with the rest of the group. But on the other hand, they are also doing that by playing with the rest of the clan through elite. So all in all, I think all is well and there is no need to stress over this matter.

I booted 4 last night. If your GamerTag is anything like IMasterBate, you will be booted! We don't want GT's like that! Also, just to get it off my chest, we (those on the Elite side) DO NOT harrass another Elite member because he/she wants to play with someone who isn't in the Elite Clan! That WILL NOT be tolerated! The issue at hand is under investigation and the ones that are guilty WILL face consequences! The Elite side plays with everybody! If you are Elite and some of your friends are not, you can play with them! I have friends that are not Elite, hell not even part of this Clan, but I still play with them. Those that are guilty are warned! I WILL NOT put up with this!
