The purpose of message boards and any form of written communication is just that . . . communication. If you are able to communicate and be understood then errors are moot. Anyone that gets onto you for spelling and grammar errors are just being an ass, no matter how they try to dress it up. They have as much a right to be an ass as you have to ignore them and respectfully ask them to get a life.

IF, however, your spelling and grammer errors make your post unreadable, then you may want to police yourself up just a bit.

My personal take is that your writing is your first impression, so make it how you see fit.

Yes. The missions get a little repetitive but there suppose to be releasing new missions and species, so I'm hoping for the best. This game has a pretty high replay value, in my opinion.

i would contribute that to a freak drive accident rather than a specific game incident; It just so happened you were playing defiance when the drive acted up but could have potentially happened on any game when the drive was being accessed. Just my opinion though and I could be completely wrong, i just figure if there was a game related issue causing drive corruption we'd be hearing about it from a hoard of screaming angry gamers

So I have been playing this game since 3 days after launch and I really can't wait for the first big update to hit the PS3. I think that the hardest part of the game is definitely the races. I keep trying but reaching gold seems almost impossible. Kudos to those that have the black charger already.

I have tried around 8 times so far and it just seems to get harder. Is there a trick maxing out points? Some of the content is just absurd IMO.

I'm new to this type of game as well but the author does make some good points. I am still doing the main missions and that is why I am logging in but I can say that if they don't start adding new episode missions to go along with the show I can see the number of players dropping drastically. That was what kinda sold me on it in the first place "A game that would evolve with the show"

I think both the game and show will require some patience...the show is still setting things up but I can already see improvements from the first episode. As far as MMO launches go this one has been relatively decent...there have definitely been worse. Dedication to both will pay off in my opinion. Happy Hunting!

Yeah I'm pretty addicted to it myself...it's a nice change of pace. Unfortunately bugs are to be expected at this point. Just glad the PS3 version is pretty stable.....hope it stays that way after the first patch rolls out. I hope the comm issues get addressed

to any of the clan leaders on defiance, i am still showing as not being part of the in game clan, need a leader to get on and send me an invite. Also Kantstopmeh mentioned that i should be given leadership status on defiance as i am one of the more active players in the clan. Was also wondering, since there a lot of perks to having big clans on defiance, could we pick up non-clan members in game as associates? They would have to apply through here for full membership of course to be able to participate as a clan-member anywhere else. Trion Worlds' persistent-word shooter Defiance has surpassed a million registered users in its first month, the developer announced today.

Players have collectively murdered over 500,000,000 hellbugs to date in Defiance, while the number of slaughtered heavenbugs is currently unknown. Trion also boasts one million triggered instances in the press release past the break.

Defiance is a trans-media project from Trion Worlds and the SyFy network – Trion Worlds launched the video game side of Defiance in early April, while SyFy's television series is currently ongoing. This means that the 'Episode: Svushinnira' pursuit 'Unconventional Methods' cannot be completed until the week after the Most Wanted contest has concluded. We could always stop at the bug and chug. I also say we have everyone using the same type of vehicle if possible as for route unless we have people set up as check points we really wouldn't know if they followed the specific route. I would say get in vehicles say go and the first one there wins has to be on the honor system though now fast travel cheating.

The guys form across the badlands were talking about that monolith in one of the episodes and had said on the forums a bunch of players wee going to take it on early in the game. Low and behold the revs watched as 150 or so players bashed their heads against the thing over and over till they finally gave up

My system was crashing hard Wednesday I think it may have had something to do with my uncles cb equipment. He just got a huge power upgrade and even the cable was messing up. It's all good though I just worked on some pursuits and found out I am only 17 trophies away from a platinum with I think 5 of them being something I can finish real quick. Unfortunately ill be gone camping till Sunday but look forward to fishing time

Thanks for that tip stolen. I went there after my game crashed and I got booted from the instance we were in. I got my pump shot guns to lvl 5 and leveled up my combat 2 levels and only need 38 more power kills to finish the decoy kills to 500

I was able to connect last night, but still had the audio issues. I am really considering deleting the game and then downloading again just to make sure I don't have any corruption issues.
