Meh. I have no desire to sit in a tiny little cockpit for hours and hours. But fighter pilots do seem to be the worst. Most of the heavy guys I know are much more laid back (I did meet a pair of U-28 Spec Ops pilots that were just stuck-up pricks).

The idea is cool, but I wouldn't trade anything for the experience we had. We had the ability to stare down our targets through the glass of the M21/24s. I'm not saying that hasnt caused some mental issues. But I prefer it over dropping bombs from 10,000 feet.

Not to mention the looks and nods you get from other service members on the FOBs, when walking around with painted M4s and our long rifles. Makes you feel good inside.

Ah, you were a sniper in the Army? I did not know that, nice!! Your right I wouldn't trade my experience to be a pilot. In the Marine Corps we used the M40 and I will never forget the looks I got walking around the barracks with that rifle. Mainly because we carried that rifle pointing down at the ground when every other grunt was force to carry there rifles muzzle up. They didn't understand there was a reason we carry that rifle that way, they would just say what the fuck makes you so special!! Funny shit!!
