    Twisted Metal Release Date
    Date: Apr 7, 2011

    This holiday continues to fill up with big titles. Sony confirmed it's rolling out Twisted Metal for PlayStation 3 on Oct. 4, 2011. The news came from a new trailer that debuted on Spike TV earlier tonight.

    Series creator David Jaffe told IGN in a recent interview this new Twisted Metal game started out as a download title and that Sony requested it to be turned into a full, retail product.

    Yeah, it was revealed at the VGA's a couple months back I thought. I'm interested to see what they do with it. TM has always been an awesome IP that they completely destroyed and forgot about.


    Wonder if you can read something in to them recreating old IP's rather than building new ones, though.....

    David Jaffe, co-founder of developer Eat Sleep Play and mind behind the likes of God of War, has announced today that the new Twisted Metal is being delayed. Originally slated for an October 4, 2011 release, it is now being held until early 2012.

    Jaffe says he wants the extra development time "to ship the best Twisted Metal ever made." Expect new impressions from IGN in the coming weeks as we play new builds at Gamescom and this year's PAX Prime.

    I have played the Demo and it was fun so, Yes I plan to get it. I just don't know when at this point.
